What's New

bulletIf you are worried about Big Brother watching over you, (as the Eluisve Sail Capri and my boy Krumb are), then read the following material sent in by PR that covers this emerging technology called RFID (Radio Frequency Identification). Some scary potential here. Gotta weigh the benefits with the personal costs to freedom. (6/25/03)

bulletMy little run in with security over photos has taken on a following. So here are some more of those 'unsanctioned' photos. Enjoy. I'll post more from my library.
  1. A couple of our colleagues - renegades
  2. Another of my boy Roy
  3. Building in winter
  4. Building w/Empire State Building
  5. Here's one of Gloria in front of a NJ building (does this one count ??)
bulletMy boy Roy and Mike on the job. This is one of those 'unsanctioned' photos
bulletCheckout photos of my God-daughter's dance recital. Nicole, you did great. You are starting to  look more and more like me each day.
bulletMy oldest bought a car, drove it home, got into an accident, so has to get things sorted out. Here are some shots of the car. Not a bad looking ride. Good Pic , Pic1 , Pic2 , Pic3 (6/24/03)
bulletSR provided this link for amusement. www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/you.html Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Oh, by the way SR, I get to allocate your share of GIC, so I probably won't forget this...
bulletA couple of late submissions from our roving reporter CS. This one is simply titled Have you hugged your flag today ???
bulletThis actually works, cause it happens to me too...

A  man approached a very beautiful woman in

Jewel supermarket and said,
"I've lost my wife here in the supermarket.
Can you talk to me for a couple of minutes?"
The woman looked puzzled. "Why talk to me?" she asked.
"Because every time I talk to a woman with  breasts  like yours,
my wife appears out of nowhere
"

bulletDL tossed this one over the fence. She's going on vacation and will be missed. It's a goody, and what I always wait for at these weddings. (6/20/03)

WHAT IF......

You are at the wedding...

You are a total Diva...

The best dress, a perfect hairdo...

You fall in love with an invited guest...

You get secret looks the entire night...

On the dance floor, he's by your side constantly, & he dances like a God...

You are the couple of the evening...

The anticipated moment has arrived for all single women...

The bride is about to throw the bouquet...

You are first in line, in a strategic position...

Once there, you wait for the right moment...

You look at him sensually, and with your eyes you tell him...

If I catch the bouquet...I Will Marry You!

And then,.........the moment you've been waiting for...

The bride throws the bouquet...

He doesn't stop looking at you...

You jump like never before to catch the bouquet...

Your arms stretched out...

Your hands open...

And suddenly...

bulletYou have to checkout this Billy Joel tribute of We Didn't Start the Fire. Absolutely amazing website. Thank You CS, you've outdone yourself . http://www.its.caltech.edu/~yel/Fire.html
bulletThis image was part of a joke our RR mailed in. The joke was cute and corny, but this image is a keeper. I call it Stoned pig listening to Pink Floyd Animals album.
bulletOur roving reporter CS came across this one during an outing (6/9/03)

A guy falls asleep on the beach for several hours and gets a horrible sunburn.
He goes to the hospital and is promptly admitted after being diagnosed with second degree burns. He was already starting to blister and in agony.

The doctor prescribed continuous intravenous feeding with saline and electrolytes, a sedative, and a Viagra pill every four hours.

The nurse, rather astounded, said, "What good will Viagra do him?"

The doctor replied, "It'll keep the sheets off his legs."

bulletWell the Elusive Sail Capri has checked in with a few good ones. Here goes

A woman was shopping at her local supermarket where she selected a quart of 2% milk, a carton of eggs, a quart of orange juice, a head of romaine lettuce, a 1 lb. can of coffee, and a 1 lb. package of bacon. As she was unloading her items on the conveyor belt to check out, a drunk standing behind her watched as she placed the items in front of the cashier. He said, "You must be single."

The woman, a bit startled but intrigued by the derelict's intuition, looked at her six items on the belt. Seeing nothing particularly unusual about her selections she said, "Well, you know what, you're absolutely correct. But how on earth did you know that?"

The drunk replied, "'Cause you're ugly."

bulletHere's a brief history lesson, and an idea for dealing with terrorists today. Provided by the Elusive Sail Capri. A little story about General Black Jack Pershing
bulletMy boy got a hit today, and stole second to boot. So he had to take his team photo with a dirty uniform, which is so cool. Good game Frank. You get better each week you play. Dad is very proud of you. We'll post his team photo here soon.
bulletI got my new PEZ Handy Dandy puppets today. Kool. There's the Bride & Groom, Peter Pez , and a Fireman. I'm sorry baby, but these are gonna have to go on a wall somewhere... (6/7/03)
bulletIt's been a while since DC has been posted. This was just sent in and is kinda timely, and it makes me think of what DF would think if he read this. I know he'd get a kick out of this one, so here goes. I get to kill 2 birds with one stone. Not often we get 2 mentions in one post...
bulletA New Jerseyan, a Mexican and an Iraqi are in a bar one night having a beer. The Mexican drinks his beer and suddenly throws his glass in the air, pulls out a gun and shoots the glass to pieces. He says "In Mexico our glasses so cheap we don't need to drink from the same one twice. The Iraqi [obviously impressed by this] drinks his beer, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the glass to pieces. He says "In Iraq we have so much sand to make the glasses that we don't need to drink out of the same glass twice, either" The New Jerseyian, cool as a cucumber, picks up his beer and drinks it, throws his glass into the air, pulls out his gun and shoots the Mexican and the Iraqi and says "In New Jersey, we have so many Mexicans and Iraqis that we don't need to drink with the same ones twice!"
bulletFearless Leader (SS) sent in this interesting news item (HOAX ALERT) on the subject of Pepsi's new Patriotic cans - Here's the truth on this scam as well, thanks LF -  http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/outrage/drpepper.htm

Pepsi has a new patriotic can coming out with pictures of the Empire State Building and the Pledge of Allegiance on them.

But Pepsi forgot two little words on the pledge, "Under God." Pepsi said they did not want to offend anyone.
If this is true then we do not want to offend anyone at the Pepsi corporate office. If we do not buy any Pepsi products then they will not receive any of our monies.

Our money, after all, does have the words "Under God" on it. If you agree with this policy, please pass this word to everyone you know.

Pepsi doesn't have the right to rewrite the Pledge Of Allegiance!!

Can you live without a Pepsi for two months?  If so, no one buys a Pepsi in May or June, and see how quick they get the message from 95% of Americans who believe in "Under God".

bulletHere is an enlightening piece of nostalgia to recall. Provided by my 'Way Kool' AJ. (6/4/03)

I Can't Believe We Made It!

According to today's regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were kids in the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's or even the early 80's, probably shouldn't have survived. Our baby cribs were covered with bright colored lead-based paint. We had no childproof lids or locks on medicine bottles, doors, or cabinets, and when we rode our bikes, we had no helmets. Not to mention the risks we took hitchhiking. As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or air bags. Riding in the back of a pickup truck on a warm day was always a special treat. We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle. Horrors! We ate cupcakes, bread and butter, and drank soda pop with sugar in it, but we were never overweight because ! we were always outside playing. We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle, and no one actually died from this. We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then rode down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem. We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the street lights came on.  No one was able to reach us all day. No cell phones. Unthinkable! We did not have Play stations, Nintendo 64, X-Boxes, no video games at all, no 99 channels on cable, video tape movies, surround sound, personal cell phones, personal computers, or Internet chat rooms. We had friends! We went outside and found them. We played dodge ball, and sometimes, the ball would really hurt. We fell out of trees, got cut and broke bones and teeth, and there were no lawsuits from these accidents. They were accidents. No one was to blame but us. Remember accidents?  We had fights and punched each other and got black and blue and learned to get over it. We made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out any eyes. We rode bikes or walked to a friend's home and knocked on the door, or rang the bell or just walked in and talked to them. Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Some students weren't as smart as others, so they failed a grade and were held back to repeat the same grade. Horrors! Tests were not adjusted for any reason. Our actions were our own. Consequences were expected. The idea of parents bailing us out if we got in trouble in school or broke a law was unheard of. They actually sided ! with the school or the law. Imagine that! This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers, and inventors, ever. We had freedom, failure, success, and responsibility ---

and we learned how to deal with it. And you're one of them! Congratulations.

Please pass this on to others who have had the luck to grow up as kids before lawyers! and government regulated our lives for our own good !!!

bulletA few more submissions from our field reporter CS. (6/2/03)

bulletA cute PMS week related snippet from our roving reporter CS. (5/31/03)

A man walks into a pharmacy and wanders up and down the aisles. The sales girl notices him and asks him if she can help him. He answers that he is looking for a box of tampons for his wife. She directs him down the correct aisle.

A few minutes later, he deposits a huge bag of cotton balls and a ball of string on the counter. She says, confused, "Sir, I thought you were looking for some tampons for your wife? He answers, "You see, it's like this, yesterday, I sent my wife to the store to get me a carton of cigarettes, and she came back with a tin of tobacco and some rolling papers ; cause it's sooooooooooo much cheaper. So.... I figure if I have to roll my own .. so does she."

bulletZM provided this hysterical Three Bears story. We all know how much she likes to get 'posted' so here it is ZM, one of your best submissions. Be sure and spend the time to weed out the 'less likely' to get posted material. You should know what it takes by now. :-)

THE FINAL 3-BEARS STORY

Baby Bear goes downstairs and sits in his small chair at the table. He looks into his small bowl. It is empty.

"Who's been eating my porridge?!!", he squeaks.

Papa Bear arrives at the big table and sits in his big chair.  He looks into his big bowl, and it is also empty.  "Who's been eating my Porridge?!!" he roars.

Momma Bear puts her head through the serving hatch from the kitchen and yells, "For Christ's sake, how many times do we have to go through this with you idiots?  It was Momma Bear who got up first, it was Momma Bear who woke everyone in the house, it was Momma Bear who made the coffee, it was Momma Bear who unloaded the dishwasher from last night, and put everything away, it was Momma Bear who went out in the cold early morning air to fetch the newspaper, it was Momma Bear who set the damn table, it was Momma Bear who put the friggin' cat out, cleaned the litter box, and filled the cat's water and food dish, and, now that you've decided to drag your sorry bear-asses downstairs, and grace Momma Bear's kitchen with your grumpy presence, listen good, cause I'm only going to say this one more time.

"I HAVEN'T MADE THE FUCKING PORRIDGE YET!!"

bulletCS provided the following analysis on The TRUE meaning of  Globalization (4/30/03)

Question: What is the truest definition of Globalization?

Answer: Princess Diana's death.

Question: How come?

Answer: An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, driving a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whiskey, followed closely by Italian Paparazzi,on Japanese motorcycles, treated by an American doctor, using Brazilian medicines!

And this is sent to you by an American, using Bill Gates' technology.

And you are probably reading this on one of the IBM clones that use Taiwanese-made chips, and Korean-made monitors, assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by lorries driven by Indians, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, trucked by Mexican illegal aliens, and finally sold to you.

That, my friend, is Globalization!

bulletZM has a friend in the CIA who provided us a surveillance photo of Sadam and one of his sons attempting to flee Baghdad. (4/14/03)
bulletSome poignant quotes coming out of Baghdad residents today, Iraqi Liberation Day.
bulletPeople, if you only knew what this man did to Iraq," yelled an old man standing in the road, thrashing at a torn portrait of Saddam with his shoe -- a traditional Arab insult. "He killed our youth, he killed millions."
bullet"No more Saddam Hussein," chanted one group, waving to troops as they passed. "We love you, we love you."
bulletHundreds of people gathered at intersections chanting "Bush, Bush, Bush"
bullet"I kissed them, I kissed them," shouted Mahmud Kerim, tears of happiness welling up in his eyes, "and I kiss the hands and feet of George W. Bush," he added before carrying on his way, kissing everyone in sight.
bulletKerim confided that "like every Kurdish family" his had suffered under the iron rule of Saddam. "They killed 10 of my family and today feels like a rebirth for me," he said.
bulletBut in Sulaymaniya, as the crowd chanted incessantly "Bush, we kiss your hand", they were beginning what one Kurd anticipated as "a celebration which will last a whole week".
bullet"I was born today," said Ahmad Yussuf, 25, surrounded by young men and women waving PUK banners and the flags of Kurdistan and Iraq. "May Bush and Blair live forever; they have made our dearest dream come true," they yelled.
bullet"We are free." But his words seemed to reignite the anger at Saddam and as one, the crowd yelled: "Let him be torn limb from limb, cut up into little pieces and turned into a kebab."
bullet"I was watching television when I realized that US forces were in control of most of the Iraqi capital, and I saw Baghdadis going out en masse to express their joy. I found myself spontaneously going out too," said 19-year-old Zana Sami.
bullet"You can't imagine how happy I am. I have family in Baghdad and (the northern city of) Mosul, and I will at last be able to visit them," he said.

Anyway, we are glad he's hanging in there, and he's keeping his spirits up. Get well, and before you return to work, PLEASE shower !!!
bulletSR provided this insightful remark made by Colin Powell

Sometime Saturday while Secretary of State Colin Powell was at the UN, an Iraqi television reporter asked him a question and Powell, without missing a beat gave the following answer which left the reporter speechless: " Mr. Secretary, isn't it true that only about 13% of all Americans under the age of 25 know where Iraq is on a map?"

"Yes, that's true - but unfortunately for you - they're all Marines....any further questions?" (3/28/03)

But, she has stuck it out, and for that I'm grateful and pleased. Thank You Rosanne for the wife you are, the friend you will always be, and the mother you are to our children. bulletWell, the long anticipated war with Irag has begun. It is saddening that we could not accomplish via the UN what we need to have done, but I am confident that we will achieve our goals. Now is the time for all Americans, regardless of opinion, rally together, support our men and women in the armed forces, and work to a quick, decisive win. We must also keep in perspective the events that brought us to this day. It has been 554 days since that fateful morning of 9/11/01, and we continue to identify bodies of those lost. Families still have not been able to account for their loved ones, and this is something we can never forget. No political opinion, religious difference, or any other matter that humans may disagree about, should ever result in such a horrendous attack on civilian people. Never Forget what this is about. It's about Freedom. Oh yeah, and one more thing - Fuck the French !!!! (3/19/03)

bulletThe Elusive Sail Capri must be cleaning out his mailbox, he provided a variety of submissions, this was one of the best. Enjoy.

A young boy went up to his father and asked him, "Dad, what is the difference between potentially and
realistically?" The father thought for a moment then answered, "Go ask your mother if she would sleep with Robert Redford for a million dollars. Then ask your sister if she would sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars, and ask your brother if he'd sleep with Tom Cruise for a million dollars. Come back and tell me what you learn from that

So the boy went to his mother and asked, "Would you sleep with Robert Redford for a million dollars?"
The mother replied, "Of course I would! We could really use that money to fix up the house and send you
kids to a great college!" The boy then went to his sister and asked, "Would you sleep with Brad Pitt for a million dollars?" The girl replied, "Oh my God! I LOVE Brad Pitt! I would sleep with him in a heartbeat, are you nuts?!!?" The boy then went to his brother and asked, "Would you sleep with Tom Cruise for a million dollars?" "Of course," the brother replied. "Do you know how much a million could buy?"

The boy pondered that for a few days, then went back to his dad. His father asked him, "Did you find out
the difference between potentially and realistically?"

The boy replied, "Yes, sir. Potentially, we're sitting on three million dollars, but realistically, we're living with two sluts and a fag." (2/13/03)

bulletGrumpyVP shot this image of Michael Jackson after his next round of surgery. To me this would be his best yet
bulletWell, now I've just about had it. There's an article in today's NY Post that covers the proposed toy-gun ban being passed through the City Council. Now these knuckleheads propose to ban all toy guns, because they can be 'made' to look real. I was OK when they banned 'real looking' toy guns, after all why make things too easy for the criminal, by having already made life like replicas of guns available. Well, David Weprin, one of our councilman, had this enlightening statement to make :

"If you spray-paint a toy gun black, it clearly looks like a real gun," David Weprin (D-Queens), a sponsor of the law, said yesterday. "Therefore, we're taking it one step further and basically disallowing any sale of any toy gun in the city of New York."

Weprin brandished his 11-year-old daughter's toy - which he spray-painted black - next to a photo of the realistic toy gun that cost a Harlem 17-year-old his life last week.

Let's slow down a bit here Dave.

If a criminal, goes through the trouble to paint a brightly colored red, green, blue Super Soaker water gun to 'look' like a real gun, then he has made a 'personal choice' to make someone 'believe' he has a real gun. Should he not then be subjected to the consequences of his 'choice' and be treated by the law officers he comes across as he commits his crime, to the potential response of said officer when confronted by someone with a 'gun' ? In other words, you made an object look real so those you rob, believe it is real, so then those who catch you also believe what you want them to believe, so you get a real bullet in the head.

I mean, think about it. Someone can take a car, point it into a crowd of people, and drive it into that crowd of people killing them. Since we know it can happen and does, do we make cars illegal ? Or better yet, someone can hijack a plane, take control of it, point it into buildings and crash into them, killing thousands. Do we make airplanes illegal ? Or, even better, I've read of a recent spate of kitchen knife killings. Do we ban the sale and possession of kitchen knives ? Substitute each example with a variety of household objects, hammers, screwdrivers, bowling balls, knitting needles, box cutters, garden weasel, hot cocoa.

Anything can be exploited and misused for the wrong purpose.

This is similar to the recent ban on smoking in bars and restaurants. Until you make the sale and use of cigarettes illegal, how far can you limit the use of legal products ? If a restaurant has a job opening, and someone applies, they are told that smoking is permitted in the establishment, so then the applicant has a 'personal choice' to make. Do I accept this job, knowing the conditions that exist, or do I not ? Once accepted, you lose all rights to complain. Same for a customer. If before I enter the establishment, there is a sign posted saying that smoking is permitted on premises, I have a 'choice' as a consumer, to continue and enter (and then accept the ambience), or to exercise my 'choice' to not enter, which by itself then sends a message to the establishment owner, doesn't it ? Perhaps if more people exercised their freedom of choice with conviction, then restaurant owners can decide if they want to continue with a smoking or non-smoking business.

When does this shit end ? When it is something you enjoy yourself that is impacted ? By then it will be too late. Think people, when do we begin to hold an individual responsible for their own actions ? It is the fairest approach, and evens everything out. (1/6/03)

THOSE WONDERFUL PEACE LOVING MUSLIMS

The phone number for The Neal Boortz Show is 1-877-310-2100,The lines will be open this morning for Muslims to call and tell the nation what a wonderful, gentle, peace-loving religion you have  Come on. Give us a call. We’re listening.

We’re also watching.  We watching your Muslim brothers in Nigeria rampaging through the streets of Lagos, randomly stabbing, slashing, burning, killing.  Perhaps so many as 100 are dead.   Hundreds more are injured.  And just what was it that brought these gentle, peaceful Muslims to this level of rage?  It seems some newspaper in Lagos ran a column speculating that the Prophet Muhammad, and we know just how gentle and peaceful he was, might be interested in one of the Miss World contestants if he were alive today.

Well!  No wonder Muslims are rampaging and killing!  That is certainly an offence that demands the death of hundreds of innocents, isn’t it?

Here in the U.S. we were making jokes yesterday about what sort of car Jesus would drive.  Were some offended?  Surely they were.  Did they take to the streets to kill innocents?  Don’t think so.  Well, I guess that’s just all the proof we need that Islam is the way to go, isn’t it?  I mean, who would want to be a part of a religion that doesn’t engage in a good killing spree every now and then?

This was reported in the 11/22 edition of the NY Post. I love the final comment from Ms Cabral, she even had specific financial expectations. Suspect she'll file a 'mental anguish' lawsuit now, to cover the big letdown when she found out this wasn't going to happen...

CASH HOAX SPURS FEMA STAMPEDE

November 22, 2002 Thousands jammed FEMA's Manhattan offices yesterday thinking they'd hit pay dirt - only to learn they were fooled by a bogus rumor that the agency was giving the poor millions from a tycoon's estate.

Most who descended on the offices of the Federal Emergency Management Agency at 141 Worth St. said the rumor aired on Spanish-language radio and TV.

But FEMA officials said they hadn't heard of any such bequest.

Mercede Cabral, 38, of Manhattan said she hoped the money would help put food on the table for her and her five kids and help pay her bills.

"Somebody was playing a sick joke on us," she said. "I thought I was going to get at least $20,000."

We have lost another friend of ours suddenly. Mark was recovering from recent surgery and was well on his way to recovery when he was taken due to an accident. He loved his bank shots and worked the table like a carpenter working the angles on a mitre box. The Boyzz will forever miss the weekly get togethers and his attempts to have us watch some of the weirdest video ever produced. I think he was the only consumer of 'Something Weird' video productions, as well as the 50's Jazz and Rock he enjoyed. I'm playing the last tape he gave me a few weeks ago in memory of him. Very interesting editorial today in the NY Post by Eric Fetterman, titled Where's the Anger ?. I agree that we need to watch the 9/11 attacks again as we near the anniversary. As difficult as that will be, it is necessary. We seem to be backing off on our resolve to deal with terrorism, and to a large degree we have been making light of our enemy and attempting to minimize what happened as an anomaly that can't happen again, so we need to be reminded very graphically, just what it is we are fighting for. I am sure you have all seen by now the startling image of the Palestinian baby bomber. This is another example (like we needed more anyway) that these people aren't the least bit interested in peace. To teach their young this hatred is only meant to continue the cycle of violence that they live by. When are these people going to realize their leadership is abusing them and take peace into their own hands. Rise up, fight your leadership and insist on forward progress instead of continuing to fight over real shitty land anyway. Ask yourselves when was the last time a 14 year old Israeli boy strapped bombs to himself, went into your cities and blew himself up along with your own citizens. NEVER, so what's the deal here ? bulletToday, 6/1/02, my oldest son graduated High School. I can not believe how fast time has gone by. It seems like only yesterday that we brought Jack home from the hospital. Before we knew it, he was in High school, and a moment later here he is graduating. To say I'm proud of him would be an understatement. He has grown into a fine young man that I'm proud to call son. As anyone who knows him can tell you, he is an honest, caring, respectful and a good person. As much as I might have contributed to Jack's maturing, his school, the principles they teach and lead to were instrumental in his being the man he is today. And as much as that education provided for him the ability to grow in this way, his mother is the driving force being him and the rest of us. My wife is who created this man. Her love, dedication to the growth of her children and devotion to that end are paying off each day we live. I love you Rosanne, and thank you for helping Jack to become the person he is today. Jack - I LOVE YOU and wish you the best of everything as you begin your next phase in life, your college education. Stay happy, be wise and above all, care for everyone you come in contact with and treat each person as you expect to be treated and you'll be fine. Baruch will be a challenge for you, but a challenge I am sure you are up to. You make us proud son. God Bless You.

Now, I am sure all you animal lovers will send me hate mail, but you know what, this is my site, so I get to post what I like, so there. We'll call this one teaching the dog new tricks. Once JLi sees this one, she may modify her approach to the office moron video.... what u think JLi ???

bulletOn May 13, 2002 we lost a very dear friend of ours to cancer. Ralph was one of the finest people you could know. Proof was in the amazing amount of people who came to pay their respects to his family. As I said to his mother, everyone loved Ralph. She should be proud of the person he turned into and I promised her that we will never forget him. This is a feeling shared by all the Boyzz, and our weekly roundups will never be the same without him, and he will be a source of inspiration for each of us forever. Please visit the memorial page that I've created and just reflect on his life and energy. (5/20/02)
bulletJLi must be on a roll, she thought the females out there would be interested in enrolling their 'men' in a series of courses geared towards helping us manage life with them. Apparently, 'men' have some behaviors that 'women' find annoying, so they want to help us.What follows is a series of courses for men designed for just that, and after we have 'graduated', we get diplomas, yippee. Wise Guy Construction Worker

=======================

The construction foreman is interviewing new workers, when along comes Vinny from New Jersey. "I'm not hiring a wise guy from Jersey," the foreman thinks, so he makes up a test hoping that Vinny can't answer the questions. "Here's your first question," the foreman says. "Without using numbers, represent the number 9."

"Widout numbiz?" Vinny says. "Dat's easy," and he proceeds to draw 3 trees."

What's this?" the boss asks.

Vinny replies, "Ain't you got no brains? Tree 'n tree 'n tree makes nine. Fughedaboutit."

"OK," says the boss. "Here's your second question. Use the same rules, but this time use the number 99."

Vinny stares into space for a minute, then picks up the picture he drew and makes a smudge on each tree. "Dare ya go, Buddy." The boss scratches his head and says,

"How on earth do you get that to represent 99?"

Vinny says "Each a da tree's is dirty now. So it's dirty tree 'n dirty tree' n dirty tree. Dat's 99."

The boss is getting worried he's going to have to hire Vinny, so he says, "All right, last question. Same rules but this time use 100."

Vinny stares into space again, then picks up the same, makes a little mark at the base of each tree and says, "Dare ya go, Mac. A hunnert."

The boss looks at the picture for a moment and says, "You must be nuts if you think that represents 100!"

Jersey Vinny points to the marks at the base of the trees. "Dis doggie comes along and takes a shit on each a dem trees. So now ya got dirty tree an' a turd, dirty tree an' a turd, dirty tree an' a turd. Which makes a hunnert. Bada boom, bada bing. When do I freakin' start ?!"

bullet"More and more details coming out now about spoiled rich kid Osama bin Laden. Time reports this week he was one of 52 kids. Truly one of the All-Time best quotes.

In a recent interview, General Norman Schwartzkopf was asked if he didn't think there was room for forgiveness toward the people who have harbored and abetted the terrorists who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks on America.

His answer was classic Schwartzkopf.

He said, "I believe that forgiving them is God's function. Our job is simply to arrange the meeting."

bulletA2 supplied this latest Dirty Johnny gem (1/29/02)

Teacher asked her third grade class to use the word "fascinate" in a sentence.

Molly said. "My family went to the New York City Zoo and we saw all the animals. It was fascinating."

The teacher said, "That was good, but I wanted you to use the word "fascinate".

Sally raised her hand. She said, "My family went to the Statue of Liberty and I was "fascinated".

The teacher said, "Well, that was good, Sally, but I want the word "facinate".

Little Johnny raised his hand. The teacher hesitated because Little Johnny was noted for his bad language. She finally decided

there was no way he could damage the word 'fascinate,' so she called on him.

Little Johnny said, " My sister has a sweater with ten buttons, but her tits are so damn big, she can only fasten eight."

Which is not quite like me, to not have words to express myself. I thank God that our family has for the most part physically survived the 9/11 attacks. We have all been affected emotionally, and I still find this all surreal. Christmas Black Out

After attending the company Christmas party, the "life of the party" was nursing a king-sized hangover and asked his wife, "What the hell happened?"

"As usual, you made a fool of yourself in front of your boss," replied the wife.

"Piss on him!" answered the husband.

"You did," said the wife, "so he fired you!"

"Well, fuck him!" said the husband.

"I did. You go back to work on Monday."

bulletSo Kandahar falls, yet Mullah Mohammed Omar can't be found, nor can Usama. Kinda hypocritical to command your followers to destroy the Evil USA, and to fight to the death, so one can achieve true martydom, yet these two knuckleheads forgot the first rule of leadership, which is 'Lead by Example'. What better way to exhibit your determination and commitment than to be the lead horse commanding the charge. Whatsa matter guys, not interested in meeting 70 virgins waiting on the other side, or was this all bullshit ? I think you better pray to Allah the Americans catch you and put you before the military tribunal, then put you to death swiftly, cause if your own kind catch you, you are gonna be wishing we got ya. bulletI visited Ground Zero yesterday. I have to tell you, it is much more powerful and surreal in person. As much as the pictures do to convey the rubble, it feels different standing there in person. The entire atmosphere is somber, people just walking around and reflecting, the smell continues to permeate the air, the smoke still rises flrom the debris, and the enormous outporing of support as portrayed by all of the different memorials that have sprung up brings this whole event to another level. I do not know if I would be able to come to work each day, if I worked down there. It is that disturbing. I continue to believe that every human should visit this site to see what it is we are dealing with, so they can also realize that we need to take care of this problem.

bulletThe more I hear Donald Rumsfeld talk, the more I like this guy. He has such an amazing grasp for words. I love him. Here's a doozy he came up with just today

Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld on Friday rejected any negotiated surrender of the besieged Afghan Taliban stronghold of Kandahar in exchange for amnesty for Taliban supreme leader Mullah Mohammad Omar.

`I can assure you that the United States would vigorously oppose any idea of providing him amnesty or safe passage of any type,'' Rumsfeld said at a news briefing He made clear that the United States intended at some point to conduct military trials for any captured leaders of fugitive Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda guerrilla network, accused by Washington of the Sept. 11 attacks on America, and to hold the Taliban leadership responsible for harboring bin Laden. ``I think it is likely that Omar is a dead-ender,'' Rumsfeld said. - You go boy Donnny R, Don Corleone would be proud of you.

bulletEvery once in a while we hear from our good friend ET. It's not often, cause he is always so busy. He sent this brilliant response to the variety of junk mail we all receive, and I can't wait to join this new movement. Here is his Good Idea. (11/30/01)

GOOD IDEAS

When you get ads in your phone or utility bill, include them with the payment. Let them throw it away. When you get those pre approved letters in the mail for everything from credit cards to 2nd mortgages and junk like that, most of them come with postage paid return envelopes, right? Well, why not get rid of some of your other junk mail and put it in these cool little envelopes! Send an ad for your local dry cleaner to American Express.

Or a pizza coupon to Citibank. If you didn't get anything else that day, then just send them their application back! If you want to remain anonymous, just make sure your name isn't on anything you send them. You can Send it back empty if you want to just to keep them guessing! Eventually, the banks and credit card companies will begin getting all their junk back in the mail. Let's let them know what it's like to get junk mail, and best of all THEY'RE paying for it! Twice!

Let's help keep our postal service busy since they say e-mail is cutting into their business, and that's why they need to increase postage again!

bulletMy boy SS shot this over - quite funny.

A woman was shopping at her local supermarket, where she selected a quart
of milk, a carton of eggs, juice, and a package of bacon. As she was unloading
her items on the conveyer belt to check out, a drunk standing behind her,
watched as she placed her items in front of the cashier.

He said, "You must be single."

The woman, a bit startled, but intrigued, looked at her four items on the
belt, and seeing nothing particularly unusual about her selections said,
"Well, y'know, that's right. But how in earth did you know that?

The drunk said, "Cause you're uglier 'n shit."

bulletHappy Thanksgiving and God Bless America (11/22/01)
bulletSo the mighty Taliban is on the run. Yet they insist they will fight to the death. Well guys, stop running in the opposite direction, so we can finally kill you all. Personally, I would love nothing more than to see Osama and the Mullah's heads stuck on the tips of a US Marine's rifle bayonet, displayed on top of what remains of the WTC at ground zero, or perhaps atop the Empire State Building, so all can appreciate the view. bulletSo New York City elected a new Mayor on Tuesday. We will sorely miss Rudy Giuliani, and only hope he doesn't go too far away from us. They say that Rudy's endorsement of Mike Bloomberg is what allowed him to get elected, which is a good thing for New York. What is unfortunate is that it took Rudy's handling of the 9/11/01 terrorist attacks for the majority of NYC citizens to finally realize the character of the man that was their Mayor for 8 years prior to the attacks. How he responded to the attacks is no different than the way he conducted every moment of his tenure. From the first day we came to know him, he was only concerned for what was best for this city, it's citizens and it's workers. Every adult should live their lives the way Rudy conducted himself. And that is to consider others in each decision made, and how it will affect the future. To not bow to pressure from special interests, or 'squeeky wheels', but to consider the larger picture. To not be afraid to make diffcult, or unpopular decisions, but to make the right decisions. God Bless America, God Bless New York City, and God Bless Rudy Giuliani. (11/8/01)

bulletOur newest dotcommie (DF) has provided us with 2 interesting questions to ponder. They are :
  1. There are two men--both extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives hundreds of millions of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case, why is it that the U.S. Government has spent more money chasing down Bill Gates over the past ten years than Osama bin Laden? It is a strange turn of events.
  2. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir. This from two people who have spent the past 8 years being unable to recall anything about past events!!

Marine Corps General Reinwald was interviewed on the radio and you should read his reply to the lady who
interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws - he firmly puts her back in
her box!!!! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of a National Public Radio (NPR)
interview between a female broadcaster and US Marine Corps General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy
Scout Troop visiting his military installation.

FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they
visit your base?
GENERAL REINWALD: We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it?
GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children?
GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a
firearm.
FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you're equipping them to become violent killers.
GENERAL REINWALD: Well, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you?

The radio went silent and the interview ended. (10/27/01)

bulletAJ forwarded this novel idea on how to deal with Osama. (10/7/01)

How to exact justice for Osama Bin Laden's crimes:

Killing him will only create a martyr. Holding him prisoner will
inspire his comrades to take hostages to demand his release.

Therefore, I suggest we do neither.

Let the CIA, Rangers, Seals or whoever covertly captures him, fly him
to an undisclosed hospital and have surgeons quickly perform a
complete sex change operation.

Then return 'her' to Afghanistan to live under the Taliban.

bulletThere is absolutely nothing that I can say that could ever come close to my feelings on the recent attacks on America at the NYC World Trade Center. I had to go to our Jersey City data center that morning, so I was able to watch the event unfold from a short distance away. Besides some of the nightmares I have been having, it was the most scariest moment of my life, and I've been through some scary shit.I fully support our local and federal govenments in their handling of this matter and feel we can all benefit if we look to them for leadership and guidance on how to react. We would all like nothing better than to nuke these bastards, but I think the way they have been headed is proper. We all need to be more security conscious as we go about our daily routines, and there is nothing wrong with 'profiling' to limit the folks we need to check a bit. After all, why look for a California blonde, if the enemy is a Middle Eastern man, with black hair and eyes. Why stop a Honda, if you are looking for someone in a truck ? Hey, just start with folks who buy one-way tickets. I have received some great material since the attack, and now that flags are back at full mast, we'll take the cue and try to get back to some sort of life that is closer to what it was before the attacks, although life will never be the same for any of us. bulletJD checked in with this animated gif she put together in memory of those lost. Great work -- thanks

bulletHere's a great depiction of the region after we have taken matters into our own hands. If you act now, you should be able to acquire some of this great waterfront real estate.
bulletThere are a lot of folks who took photos of the attack, and aftermath. A lot of posted their images on their perosnal pages, and this yahoo search will lead you to some of those sites. Very moving images, with a variety of persepctive. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=wtc+photos
bulletI'm working on a WTC specific image page that will represent some of the good, and a lot of the evil from that day. We must never forget how vile this act was, and these images should serve as a reminder to all Americans, that we are all togehter, and any of the petty differences we may have had should be put aside as we work together to eliminate this evil, destructive attitude.(9/30/01)
bulletThis is for my new PEZ friend - BC, from Fontana. Here are photos of the Bill Clinton I Am Pezident wobbler. Photo 1 and Photo 2. I tend to not keep this page updated with any regularity. bulletIf you are shopping for school uniforms this year, stay away from a joint called Greens Uniform Company, in College Point. Apparently, in a Soup Nazi sort of way, you have to wait on the 'white' tiles before being serviced. And if you don't, you get berated. Stay tuned for price cuts, if this continues. (9/6/01)
bulletGot an email from EJK today. If you remember we had a farewell party for some friends back in Feb. 2000 , when we found out that Paul M. was apparently gay. We also thought that EJ (there was no K in her name then) was going to marry another lady, but that was unfounded, anyway, I digress. Anywho, she forwarded a photo of an old friend EW, who apparently may have taken the same road as Paul M. Check out this photo, our boy is in the center, and you tell me what you think about the bloke in the blue shirt and our friend.... (9/4/01)

Italian Philosophy

Little Guido was sitting on a park bench munching on one candy bar after another.

After the 6th one... a man on the bench across from him said, "Son, you know eating all that candy isn't good for you. It will give you acne, rot your teeth,& make you fat."

Little Guido replied, "My grandfather lived to be 107 years old."

The man asked, "Did your grandfather eat 6 candy bars at a time?"

Little Guido answered, "No, he minded his own fucking business"

bulletThis submission is from RC, our psycho bus driver friend. He is out of the hospital, and back on the prowl. A little slower than usual, since he has to deal with chemo these days, but at least he's with us. Sorry SS, looks like you lose on the death pool. This photo helps to communicate the effects of drinking too much water on the female metabolism. (8/5/01)

bulletOur GrumpyVP checked in with this submission. Apparently she is not happy with the results of Casual Friday, and has provided the this example as evidence to support it being eliminated. Considering this image, she might be right. (7/30/01)
bulletMy Dad came across this photo from 1951 of the Feast of St.Anthony on East 106th street in East Harlem. I remember going to these feasts growing up and it was an awesome event. It was especially moving to be in the crowd as the huge towering staue was carried down the streets. If you look close there is a band that sits on the statue the whole time. There were special Italian songs that they played, and an amazing display of teamwork as they 'bounced' the statue to the songs.
bulletThe Big Guy (WFP) checked in with this one. It had a different caption, and I took the liberty to adjust slightly. Now titled, 'Where's my gum ?'
bulletThe big guy from above (WFP again) also provided this amusing little ditty. If you get offended by religious humor, tough shit, get a life, and chill out a bit. We'll call this one Sipping Vodka. (7/12/01)

bulletA1 checked in with a photo that explains why women don't let men bathe the children. When will women learn we do this shit so they leave us alone? Thanks A1
bulletKeith and I visited RC, our psycho bus driver friend who's spending some quality time in the hospital these days. As usual, he's hitting on every women at NSUH. Our prayers are with you my boy. We even got our boy Krumb on the speaker phone to cheer the boy up a bit. Of course that got us yelled at for using a cell phone in a hospital, but hey, a vist from the boyz usually ends up with one of us in trouble anyway. The Boyzz plan to visit en masse soon.
bulletWhile visiting our boy, we found out some interesting information on the private life of nurse J. She's a 'biker-chick' and a church-goer, which can only mean she's fun....Hey Ralphie, be sure and get her number on the way out of there...
bulletThe elusive Sail Capri checked in again after a 5 month hiatus. As 'cute' as the submissions were, it would not be right to post them here.

bulletRemember that company that caused me all that grief during 1999 ? Remember the incompetent rat bastards fired all of us ? Well get this, these pitiful SOB's had the nerve to send me (us) not one, but two, 'Dear Employee' letters. Announcing their new global brand and new global message. And can you guess what the message is that they want to communicate to all of their clients , and potential clients ? Well it reads - ' CSC - Go Ahead, we're listening.' Well listen to this - I don't work for you any more. How are you going to attract new business if you can't even purge your stupid marketing database of terminated employees. What confidence does that project ? What kind of 'Technology Partner' are you when you can't keep something as simple as who works for you accurate ? Mary Joe Morris, President, Technology Management Group should be ashamed of herself for putting her name on this crap data. GO AWAY, LEAVE ME ALONE, FOLD, CHAPTER 11, GO AWAY, GO AWAY. bulletToday is Mom's birthday. Can't say enough about Mom, and won't even try. She is fantastic, and did a fine job raising us. That's evident by how good we all turned out. It don't happen by itself. We all Love You Mom !!! Happy Birthday. (12/26/00)
bulletToday's my brother's birthday. He's 33. Happy Birthday Frank. We Love You !!!You gave us all quite a scare this year, but you came through OK. Things like this give you a different perspective on life, and I think we have all changed a bit because of it.

bulletAnother perspective by Michael Meyers, entitled - "Al's Recounts Color Me White" , who contributes to the NY Post. This was from the Nov. 29, 2000 edition.
bulletHere's another excellent artice titled " Al's Supreme Doom" , by Kris W. Kobach, a Professor of Statutory Interpretation and Constitutional Law at the University of Missouri/Kansas City School of Law. This guy is sharp.
bulletMichael Kelly contributed this piece titled - "Torching Democracy In Order to Save it" in the Nov. 29, 2000 NY Post. I don't know what it was, but this was a great day for NY Post articles. How anyone can't be concerned over these actions is beyond me.(11/29/00)
bulletGot some birthday's to acknowledge today. My middle boy (young man) is 14 today. I can't tell you how fast time has gone. He's turning into a fine young gentleman, and we are VERY proud of him. Special credit goes to Mom for keeping these boyz on track. We love you Joe, Happy Birthday !!!
bulletMy youngest boy is 8 today. It feels like yesterday that I was changing his smelly diapers. He's developing into a fine young man, and we are proud of him. As usual credit goes to his Mom for keeping them in line. We love you Frank, Happy Birthday !!! (10/20/00)
bulletThe Boyz are so proud. Our favorite bus driver has won a very special award from one of his many organizations. We hear there will be a national ad campaign to communicate this special achievment. We were very lucky to get one of the first promo shots made available. I'm sure RCs parents are SO proud of him. bulletLet's just call this little ditty College Pointus Mosquitohumongous. Captured this puppy at my boy Steve's. After last year's West Nile problem, and subsequent spraying these little critters came back this year a lot larger, and a bit more stupider and slower. (7/13/00)
bulletMy boy Joe had his awards ceremony last night. The kid did good. Got about 6 awards. Definitely takes after his mom when it comes to getting good marks. He'll graduate Saturday, then will get ready to go to High School. We are very proud of you boy. Be sure and continue to do good, so you can get a good job, so you can make the monthly payments back to me, so I can stop working. Check back for photos next week.
bulletI know, I know, where have I been !!!. Believe it or not, I've been rather busy. Had some things happen at home that required time, and work is actually picking up. I'll try to sort through the variety of submisisons to see what can be posted. In the meantime, I've uploaded some photo's of my son's first communion. Enjoy the pictures. (5/7/00)
bulletHey Frank, thanks for making it to the communion. Be sure and take care of yourself. We all love you !!!!
bulletWhen you see this one, you will be asking yourself, how does he get his hands on some of this stuff ? People want to share with me. And I do appreciate it, because it's items like this that make me proud of who I know, and what they send to me. This one came from the one and only, Krumb. And the thoughtful bloke that he is, immediately realized the potential for this as what we call 'Mark Meat'. You may cringe, but this is the real deal for our boy Mark. And that is the brilliance of this image. Even JL thanked me for bringing this to his attention during his breakfast. I titled it "Hubba, Hubba" . Enjoy my friends !!!
bulletIf you enjoyed that image, then you need to visit BangedUp.com for the rest of this sick persons mind. Not for the under-21 of our species.
bulletWell, as expected the knuckleheads from the prior tirade did mess things up. But, promised to correct their mistakes by "Friday 4/5/00" , yes, that's right, they got the lousy date wrong. There isn't a thing they can do that might indicate competency. (4/7/00)
bulletWell, it's over. The worst year of my career finally came to an end on 3/31/2000. That supposedly wonderful company that was a Collection of Small Companies, was kicked out by the new owners. Thank the Lord. This Pitiful Alliance was the most inept, incompetent, f**cking useless bunch of idiots I've ever come across. Of course, that's just my opinion. To the end they were incapable of even communicating accurate information. Each piece of information they passed along to us, was wrong in some way shape or form. Attempts for clarification are met with looks of confusion, un-returned phone calls, or just plain ignoring. We didn't even receive the dignity of a farewell communication from our esteemed management. Of course we still have to wait and see how they handle our last pay, our 401k, and our pension fiunds, so this may drag on a bit. Either way .....

Good Fucking Riddance !!!

bulletThis is another one of those posts that is definitely not for either the under 20 crowd, our children, or those who may have recenlty had a meal. Suffice to say that after viewing this little clip, Tom H has considered the gay lifestyle, and since he works with Paul M ... well you paint your own little picture. I call it simply Hot Stuff. Enjoy !!! (3/9/00)
bulletFor those interested in the depravity of humanity, then you need to visit Horrid Humans site. It uses AdultCheck to keep away the younger of the species, but it's truly worth it. They call it "The most sickening site on the internet!", and they are right.(2/23/00)
bulletWent for drinks last night to say farewell to John and Lysette as they move on to their next assignment, and it seems that Paul M. is gay. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but who knew. All was confirmed when we noticed these 3x5 cards all over the place.. There was some other banter suggesting that one of the ladies there (EJ) was recently married to another woman, but I don't believe it, cause she's so thin. Kim said he wanted to watch, but I think she was just jumping on the gay bandwagon because of all the attention Paulie was receiving, typical cat fight ...... (2/18/00)
