Our day has come. Today is National White Male Heterosexual Day. If you spot one, be sure and thank them for their contribution to society, and the willingness to be the subject of your scorn and the blame for the ills of society. They work hard, pay their taxes, and may even be legal citizens. They are also people with feelings, and just want to be loved and adored like everyone else. If you can make it to one of the marches, or other celebrity, social gatherings to celebrate their achievements and fortitude, it would be a welcome sign of support. |

I've been into these Ryobi cordless tools. They have 40v outdoor garden tools, and 18v power tools. Just picked up the reciprocating saw and jig-saw. All use the same battery, and they pack a nice punch. Good addition to the drill and lantern I have. |

Whoever said it gets easier as time marches on, was full of shit. This day seems to get harder and harder for me every year. Having a son who is a cop, with a beautiful family that he needs to go home to every day, and another son who is a firefighter, just makes this day very hard to get through. It's especially true when both are working today. I can only imagine how they must feel, and can't really express how proud I am of both of them. They have heard stories from their colleagues, participated in various memorial activities, then have to gear up and get out on to the streets. These are difficult times for our police and firefighters, and I only wish I still had that protective cape to wrap around them both. But, I don't. They're both grown men, doing what they love and that makes us quite proud of them both. It is their daily sacrifice, and the daily sacrifice of all of our service men and women, and the dedication of our first responders who help keep America safe, and guard our freedom. Freedom is not easy or free, or a given, and this world seems to be getting more dangerous every day. We love you PO JaL, and Probie FjL. Life is short, family is important and our country will Never Forget ... And with that said, I can't help but ask that you take a few minutes and follow this link to a special tribute page entitled simply - Remember The Blood of Heroes - it is painful to watch, but important to remember that day.
