|And with the UK attacks comes an announcement by the NYPD that there will be random bag inspections on subways, buses, etc. And just so we don't offend they promise that profiling won't be employed. Why not ? If the last 999 out of 1,000 bombings have been by Muslims, it seems a no brainer to me who we should look out for and randomly check. I call that sensible policing.|
|Here's a great article by Burt Prelutsky - Titled - A modest proposal for reasonable Muslims - http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/printer-friendly.asp?ARTICLE_ID=45346|
|So, we have another series of bombings in the UK today. We have to deal with the facts, and take some serious action soon. If not, we all better prepare for this shit to happen here. (7/21/05)|

|Terrible news out of London with the terrorist attacks that took place this morning. 6 or more bomb blasts in their subway system and bus lines. I find it very curious that our Dept. Of Homeland Security announces that there are no signs of any planned attacks in the US. I ask a simple question, was there a sign of the ACTUAL attacks that just took place in London ? So, how comforting is this message supposed to be to someone like me, who has to ride the subway each day ?|
|This in from DnC, Why People hate class reunions.|
|So, Rev Al gets all excited because some stupid black kids catch a beating while walking through a neighborhood that IS NOT THEIR OWN looking for cars to steal. This is a racist bias attack ?, we used to call it street justice. You come to my town and steal, see what happens if anyone catches you, be you white, black, or those new green people we've spotted. Well, where is Rev Al now that we have a black man, who went to the mall, for only one reason, to find someone who represents the 'white way of life' and to kill that person. He picks a wonderful mother of small children, mostly because she was blond and blue eyed, but ONLY because she was white. I suppose the Rev will say we don't understand this sicko, and we need to understand where is rage came from. ENOUGH of this shit. Throw the criminals in jail, don't let them out, and start having more caring and understanding for those of us who actually work for a living, want to live quietly with everyone else, and are generally good citizens.|
|Have you heard about the most recent Muslim hate crime ? Someone left a bag on the steps of an area Mosque. The bag contained a Quran with several burnt pages, and other Islamic items. Muslims, and the America hating media declared HATE CRIME, after all, books don't burn themselves. These people even had the BALLS to suggest that EVERYONE in America ought to be required to read the Quran. Yeah, whatever. It turns out that a fellow religious Muslim student left the items at the Mosque, because they were damaged in a home fire, and he wanted to ensure they were disposed of properly. Seems there are no instructions on how to dispose of a Quran. I find the initial response appalling, and the subsequent NO ATTENTION after it was determined there was no HATE CRIME to continue to stoke flames with even more problematic.|
|Have you received one of those email jokes that starts out with PLEASE DO THIS, IT IS HYSTERICAL. I have a few times so far, and thought I would share this bit of info with you all., So BEWARE, and don't forward this crap to your friends, it would be better to forward to your enemies. (7/7/05)|
First things first. You should be aware that forwarding this email to eight, eighty, or even eight hundred people will not cause your computer to reveal the punch line of the joke, no matter how many times you press ALT-8. So don't even try.
Do you want to know the punchline of the joke? Fine. Here it is: "And the old lady said, 'NOW can I buy some toilet paper?"
See? You really didn't want to know, did you?
Why did someone start this joke circulating around the internet, anyway? I suspect the answer is, in part, that it becomes a great way of harvesting email addresses. When I received this email, there were fifty-three email addresses embedded in the message. They were the email addresses of the person who sent it to me, the other people she sent it to, as well as a bunch of people who had received it in the past.
Sooner or later, some spammer will get a copy of this, and it will contain my email address, and I'll start getting even more spam than I already do!
A Helpful Tip
Never pass on forwarded emails like this, because it's a sure way for your email address and your friends' email addresses to end up in the hands of an email harvester who wants nothing better than to spam you!

Jeff walks into a bar and sees his friend Paul slumped over the bar. He walks over and asks Paul what's wrong. "Well," replies Paul, "You know that beautiful girl at work that I wanted to ask out, but I got an erection every time I saw her?" "Yes," replies Jeff with a laugh. "Well," says Paul, straightening up, "I finally worked up the courage to ask her out, and she agreed." "That's great!" says Jeff, "When are you going out?" "I went to meet her this evening," continues Paul, "but I was worried I'd get an erection again. So I got some duct tape and taped "it" to my leg, so if I did, it wouldn't show". "Sensible" says Jeff. "So I get to her door," says Paul, "and I rang her doorbell. She answered it in the sheerest, sexiest, dress you ever saw." "And what happened then?" "I kicked her in the face."

|DNC sends in this little lesson for all you
Corporate Lesson 1:
A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower when the doorbell rings. The wife quickly wraps herself in a towel and runs downstairs. When she opens the door, there stands Bob, the next door neighbor.
Before she says a word, Bob says, "I'll give you $800 to drop that towel." After thinking for a moment, the woman drops her towel and stands naked in front of Bob. After a few seconds, Bob hands her $800 dollars and leaves.
The woman wraps back up in the towel and goes back upstairs. When she gets to the bathroom, her husband asks, "Who was that?" "It was Bob the next door neighbor," she replies.
"Great!" the husband says, "did he say anything about the $800 he owes me?"(5/27/05)

|I read a letter from a reader to the NY Post that stated that when we rebuild the Twin Towers as Trump suggests, and IF no one wants to occupy the top floors, we can relocate the entire UN to the top 20 floors. I think that's a wonderful idea, and would show the entire world's support for Freedom.|
|I don't know. I recall previous NY Post front pages that contained amongst other things, a burnt out, blown up commuter bus from Israel, images of our dead American citizens, their burnt body parts hanging from a bridge in Iraq, Army soldier carrying dead babies. Those images made me sick. The image of Saddam in his skivvies made me laugh. And we laugh at the animal who was responsible for those other images, as well as many more sick images we have yet to uncover. So let's not be so worried about hurting Saddams honor, he has none. Remember what happened on 9/11. WE MUST NEVER FORGET, and WE MUST REBUILD THE TOWERS|

|I don't know about you, but I'm still waiting for the Muslims who rioted and killed 17 of their own over the now FALSE report by Newsweek of Koran flushing to APOLOGIZE to AMERICA. How long do you figure I'm gonna have to wait. I also find it curious that one sentence in some off-beat magazine article was able to generate such a QUICK response to riot. What were they all on their riot buses, all ready to go ? http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=44333|
|I also find it interesting that when it was reported that the Palestinian terrorists who took over the Bethlehem Church of the Nativity years ago used pages of the Bible as toilet paper, the world didn't seem to make such a big deal over it. |TR sent in this bit of supposed historical information. I report, you decide.|
All you non-Catholics who have been wondering about the new Pope: This small item should give you some insight:
As I understand it, Ratzinger was not the Cardinals first choice. That was, interestingly, Cardinal Hans Grapje.
Grapje was raised in a Catholic school in The Hague and, as a young man, aspired to become a priest, but was drafted into the Army during WWII and spent two years co-piloting B17s until his aircraft was shot down in 1943 and he lost his left arm. Captain Grapje spent the rest of the war as a chaplain, giving spiritual aid to soldiers, both Allied and enemy.
After the war, he became a priest, serving as a missionary in Africa, piloting his own plane (in spite of his handicap) to villages across the continent. In 1997, Father Grapje was serving in Zimbabwe when an explosion in a silver mine caused a cave-in. Archbishop Grapje went down into the mine to administer last rights to those too severely injured to move. Another shaft collapsed, and he was buried for three days, suffering multiple injuries, including the loss of his right eye. The high silver content in the mine's air gave him purpura, a life-long condition characterized by purplish skin blotches.
Although Cardinal Grapje devoted his life to the service of God as a scholar, mentor, and holy man, church leaders felt that he should never ascend to the Papacy.
They felt that the Church would never accept a one-eyed, one-armed, flying purple Papal leader.

Billy Bob and Luther were talking one afternoon when Billy Bob tells Luther, "Ya know, I reckon I'm 'bout ready for a vacation.
Only this year I'm gonna do it a little different."
The last few years, I took your advice about where to go.
Three years ago you said to go to Hawaii. I went to Hawaii and Earlene got pregnant."
"Then two years ago, you told me to go to the Bahamas, and Earlene got pregnant again."
"Last year you suggested Tahiti and darned if Earlene didn't get pregnant again."
Luther asks Billy Bob, "So, what you gonna do this year that's different?
Billy Bob says, . ......"This year I'm taking Earlene with me."

|Now we have Donald Trump echoing comments I have been making for some time now. We should REBUILD the Twin Towers. I can list a variety of reasons, but basically we are a nation that rebuilds things that get destroyed by others. We don't replace. Rebuilding is more powerful and effective than replacing can ever be. Rebuilding means WE WIN, replacing means THEY WIN. Which side you wanna be on ?|

|I've had it with the NY Post. A few weeks ago they
added to the confusion over the NY Daily News Game
problem that resulted in more winners than the game
intended, by disparaging the paper, and it's editors,
and management. Thus contributing to the ignorant
mindset that people may have actually won that
contest and deserved to receive the erroneous cash
awards. And then we have the story of the 3 year old
who sneaks out of his home, catches the bus, gets off
the stop for the movie theater, gets past 2 or 3
layers of crack security there and starts to watch
the movie Robots. On this one, they REWARDED this
child by treating him and his family to the movie,
with all the special treatment of a local hero. |
Instead of the Post EDUCATING its readership, and eventualy all New Yorkers, it chose to contribute to the current philosophy of appeasing those who behave poorly. What the Post should be doing is reminding everyone about the 'spirit' of the game the Daily News was running. If anyone with a grade school education would have read the RULES, they would have been informed that the game is supposed to have 1 winner in each category. With quality in American industry being what it is, RULES were established that PROTECTED the NYDN against MISTAKES being made that would have resulted in more winners than the game INTENDED. The Post was in a great position to do the right thing, and remind people that life has rules and limits, and this was an honest mistake, that should have been downplayed by the media, instead of contributing to the confusion, and allowing these weak-minded losers to believe they may actually be entitled to something.
With the 'rambunctious' little toddler, instead of REWARDING his bad behavior, they should be taking the time to REMIND the young people that they are supposed to follow the guidance of their parents, should not be venturing out alone. What do you suppose this kid and others like him may be thinking now instead ? That if they do something stupid they might get their way, their face in the paper, and on the nightly news reports ? Does this kid THINK that what he did was right or wrong ? This is a BAD TREND happening, and we ought to recognize it and reverse course ASAP. (5/1/05)

left running in their garage. Blair was a good man
and was always concerned for others. We used to

|DnC finally sent in a funny dumb blonde joke. You will all enjoy this one.|
A blonde, wanting to earn some extra money, decided to hire herself out as a "handy-woman" and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do.
"Well, I guess I could use somebody to paint my porch," he said, "How much will you charge me?"
The blonde quickly responded, "How about $50?"
The man agreed and told her that the paint and everything she would need were in the garage.
The man's wife, hearing the conversation! , said to her husband, "Does she realize that our porch goes all the way around the house?"
He responded, "That's a bit cynical, isn't it?"
The wife replied, "You're right. I guess I'm starting to believe all those 'dumb blonde' jokes we've e been getting by e-mail lately."
A short time later, the blonde came to the door to collect her money.
"You're finished already?" the husband asked.
"Yes," the blonde replied," and I had paint left over, so I gave it two coats."
Impressed, the man reached into his pocket for the $50 and handed it to her.
"And by the way," the blonde added, "it's not a Porch, it's a Lexus."

When you get time... Try cleaning your computer monitor screen.Anyone who's has ever owned an aquarium knows that you have to clean the glass on the inside, sooner or later. Some people use to do that with a brush that is held to the glass by a magnet on the outside. In that way you can clean the inside glass from the outside by moving the brush up and down the glass with the magnet apparatus. The same goes for the inside of the monitor screen you are watching right now.
Up until now there was no such cleaner, but thanks to Microsoft there now is.
Just Click on the below link and move your curser up, down, back, and forth... This will clean your the backside of your monitor screen.
The results are amazing. My computer screen looks much, much better now. You will be amazed at the difference and how much better and clearer the words appear and how much it lessen the strain on your eyes...
For the best results it is recommended to do a thorough inside cleaning at least once weekly. Click on the link below to get started:

One Nation Under God
A college professor, an avowed Atheist, was teaching his class. He shocked several of his students when he flatly stated that there is no God. The expression, "One Nation Under God," was unconstitutional and further, he was going to prove there is no God. Addressing the ceiling he shouted: "God, if you are real, then I want you to knock me off this platform. I'll give you 15 minutes!"
The lecture room fell silent. You could have heard a pin fall. Ten minutes went by. Again he taunted God, saying, "Here I am, God. I'm still waiting."
His countdown got down to the last couple of minutes when a Marine just released from active duty and newly registered in the class walked up to the professor, hit him full force in the face and sent him ass over teacups from his lofty platform. The Professor was out cold! At first the students were shocked and babbled in confusion.
The young Marine took a seat in the front row and sat silent. The class fell silent...waiting.
Eventually, the professor came to, shaken. He looked at the young Marine in the front row. When he regained his senses and could speak he yelled, "What's the matter with you? Why did you do that?"
"God was busy. He sent me."
God Bless America!

What I thought was going to be a pleasant experience that would play out over a week or two at a nice normal migration pace, turned into a catastrophe, when my old pc was shutdown and wouldn't boot. |So, let me get this straight. The Arab 'world' is
'enraged' that a US combat soldier killed one of the
enemy in Fallujah ? Yes, the enemy that moments
earlier was shooting to kill coalition forces was
wounded and left to die, but didn't. We come
along, and having the prior experience of : |
It surprises the Arab world that people get killed during a war ? That war is ugly, and real ? What, we didn't warn Fallujah enough to get out if you don't want to fight and die ? After all, the 'leaders' are gone, so they knew how to get to safety. the Arab world forgets that this is called a WAR. Objective is to KILL EVERY bad guy, so they never can fight again But the Arab world doesn't seem to be so enraged over the facts that
No, this DOESN'T enrage the Arab 'world'
The Arab world is dysfunctional if this is the case. And the only way to deal with it is to first ACKNOWLEDGE it.
Enough of this shit already. Somebody needs to also deal with the media who is fueling this nonsense, and have them start acting responsibly for the population of mankind who believe that good must overtake evil. And not give evil a chance to breathe or rationalize any behavior that is contrary to people living in peace and harmony together.
Don't air the audio tapes, the video tapes, the demands, the propaganda. If nobody can hear them and listen to them, they will go away. We need to marginalize them the way we did Arafat. Make them irrelevant.
And EVERY battle we fight should be with NO MERCY, swift, unrelenting and MASSIVE.
And if you really want to get to the bottom of it all, I say we can deal with the Middle East by dealing with a few European countries first. Let's take on France and Germany, and see how fast everyone else gets in line. These are the people who are enabling the terrorists to flourish, or who give them the impression that they may actually get somewhere with these terror tactics. These are the people we really ought to fight.
Now that's just my opinion, I might be wrong (11/20/04)

A Blonde is overweight, so her doctor puts her on a diet. He tells her, "I want you to eat regularly for two days, then skip a day, and repeat the procedure for two weeks. The next time I see you, you'll have lost at least five pounds." When the Blonde returns, she's lost nearly 20 pounds. "Why, that's amazing!" the doctor says. "Did you follow my instructions?" the Blonde nods and answers, "I'll tell you, though, I thought I was going to drop dead that third day." "From hunger, you mean?" asks the doctor. "No", replied the Blonde, "From skipping
A 6 year old and a 4 year old are upstairs in their bedroom. "You know what?" says the 6 year old. "I think it's about time we started cussing." The 4 year old nods his head in approval.
The 6 year old continues, "When we go downstairs for breakfast, I'm gonna say something with 'hell' and you say something with 'ass'. The 4 year old agrees with enthusiasm.
When their mother walks into the kitchen and asks the 6 year old what he wants for breakfast, he replies, "Aw, hell, Mom, I guess I'll have some Cheerios."
WHACK! He flies out of his chair, tumbles across the kitchen floor, gets up, and runs upstairs crying his eyes out, with his mother in hot pursuit, slapping his rear with every step. His mom locks him in his room and shouts, "You can just stay there until I let you out!"
She then comes back downstairs, looks at the 4 year old and asks with a stern voice, "And what do YOU want for breakfast, young man?"
"I don't know," he blubbers, "but you can bet your ass it won't be Cheerios

I am a crack dealer in Mt. Washington, KY., who has recently been diagnosed as a carrier of HIV virus. My parents live in Morehead and one of my sisters, who lives in West Liberty, is married to a transvestite.
My father and mother have recently been arrested for growing and selling marijuana. They are financially dependent on my other two sisters, who are prostitutes in Covington. I have two brothers, one is currently serving a non-parole life sentence at Eddyville for the murder of a teenage boy in 1994. My other brother is currently in jail awaiting charges of sexual misconduct with his three children.
I have recently become engaged to marry a former prostitute who lives in Campton. She is a part-time "working girl." All things considered, my problem is this. I love my fiancée and look forward to bringing her into the family. I certainly want to be totally open and honest with her.
Should I tell her about my cousin who is a Bush supporter?

|Here's an interesting article, whose subject is the mystery illness of Arafat. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/printer-friendly.asp?ARTICLE_ID=41286|
|So now Arafat has died, come back to life, is brain dead and gravely ill and is 'fighting' for his life. Why is that ? I thought he lived to die as a martyr ? Don't fight, go to Allah, smile, smile. Again, strap some explosives to him, and roll him down the Champs Elysse. As for brain dead, he's been that for 40 years.|
|So, Arafat is in a coma, let's hope he dies quickly. Question I have is if the Palestinians have figured out that the Rat fled to France, instead of strapping a homicide bomb belt on and calling a meeting with Sharon. When are these people going to figure out they are being exploited by their leadership, and expect some leadership by example ?|
|And hopefully Bush can now go to France, demand that they turn Arafat over to either the US or Israel, so he can be dealt with as the terrorist he is. And if that doesn't work, I say bomb France for harboring terrorists. Just think of the gall of Chirac going to the hospital to visit Arafat. What was that all about ??? Perhaps to make sure that he still gets his oil and money from someone else ?, one last hug and kiss on both cheeks ? with any luck he gives Chirac whatever disease he has. (11/4/04)|

|Ah, those Yankees. Only bright side is they didn't lose the game on Frank's birthday, they waited until 2 minutes after midnight to choke. Maybe next year Son. Joe is happy, since he's a big Sox fan.|
|Now, for my 2 cents on the Yankees. I haven't paid attention to baseball since the strike 100 years ago. Seems I am the only one with discipline in these matters. I don't read the papers, watch the standings, or any of that. I will watch some of the ending playoff games, cause everyone else at home is. What I noticed for the 3 or 4 games I watched is that the Yankee players don't swing at strikes. I watched nearly every Yank actually watch and follow the ball into the catchers mitt, but they don't swing. They were swinging at pitches that were 'other' than strikes. To me this seems to be the wrong way to play. And if I was Big Stein, I'd take issue with that. (10/21/04)|

|My oldest son Jack is 20 today. No longer a teenager and all set to vote in his first Presidential election. Holy Shit ! Where did 20 years go ? To say the years flew by, would be an understatement. And as I try to figure out why it does feel like that, it dawned on me that it is probably a by-product of the type of life Jack has lived so far. I think if he was a bad kid, drawn to the streets, and appeal of being bad or tough, our life would have been more abrasive, and then feel like it was longer and harder. But Jack has lived an honorable life. Loving, caring, considerate, mature, wise. He's learned a lot. He's given a lot. His relationship with his mother is the key in my mind. Ohe yeah, I helped, by being there and doing what it is I do. But it's Rosanne who made the boys the men they are becoming and in Jack's case the man he becomes today. She has mothered them well, and should be proud of that achievement and the results. I Love You Jack, we love you, and are so proud of you. Be happy always. Happy Birthday !!! (9/18/04)|

Bush says, "Well, we're going to kill 140 million
Iraqis this time and a blonde with big tits."

ROCKVILLE CENTRE - A Rockville Centre family is mourning the loss of their son, a U.S. Marine killed in Iraq Thursday.
First Lieutenant Ronald Winchester was home two weeks ago for a scheduled month-long leave and arrived back in Iraq last Sunday. The Department of Defense says he was killed during enemy action.
Winchester attended Chaminade High School and played football for the Flyers and at the Naval Academy. His family and friends described him as outgoing and popular with a dynamic personality.
The Village of Rockville Centre has lowered its flags to half staff in honor of their fallen hometown hero. Winchester's family says funeral arrangements have not been made yet.

|I just celebrated 25 years at my job (7/31). I guess it is a pretty significant achievement these days, but anyone who knows me, knows I am too lazy to move, so to me it was quite easy. What is remarkable is they haven't fired me for some of my antics. I do want to thank my current manager RR, and my admin GG for planning and funding a little get together. It was good to have some close colleagues join us, and I was even surprised when some ex-RNB'ers showed up as well.|
|I just picked up a new dye-sub photo printer. A truly amazing printer, with quality that matches the local pharmacy photo lab or the online photo shops. It's the HiTouch Technologies 730PS. Standard 4x6 prints are running me $.30, with 5x7, or 6x8 slightly higher, but still less expensive than these places. I highly recommend this printer. It also operates standalone, without a PC and prints from 7 different media cards directly. Real slick (8/25/04)|
|You know, I am getting tired of hearing about how
holy the mosques are over in Irag. If these places of
worship were so fucking holy, then the bad guys
wouldn't dare use them. How can they be too holy for
us to blow them the fuck up, when bad guys are holed
up in them with guns and bombs, but they aren't too
holy for them to be occupied like this in the first
place. I say, take one last picture of the place,
then level it. |
"For centuries, the world's 120 million Shiite Muslims have revered the gold-domed mosque of Imam Ali bin Abi Talib named after the slain cousin and son-in-law of Islam's prophet Muhammad as a place of pilgrimage. Historians say the mosque was built in 977 in Najaf, a city regarded by Shiite Muslims as the faith's third holiest in the world after Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia. It is said that the family of Ali buried his body secretly in Najaf soon after his death in 661. His burial place stayed a secret until the 8th century. "
|So, over the weekend they installed concrete barriers in front of our building to ward of terrorists with a truck bomb. They look like candy dots, and monopoly hotels, here are pics of them unpainted, and after the special paint job. Some observations of mine, they left 2 gaps that 2 trucks can drive through to pull up right onto the sidewalk, and in either case, when the bomb goes off, the concrete will do extra damage as schrapnel. Again, if you ask me, it is easier, cheaper and more effective to KILL THE FUCKING TERRORISTS.|

|So we read in the local paper how crazy Lorraine's twin brother passed away after a 2 year battle with cancer. I wonder if she sits at night and realizes that it was about 2 years ago that she wished someone else dead. In fact she even had her kids wishing people dead. Almost spooky that the twin brother of the evil Walsh hag dies instead. See how things work out. Let's hope you all suffer each day as this weird turn of events eat at your souless minds each day. I bet you can't even look your parents in the face any more. Now we all know why you had to pack up one night and slither out of town like parasites in the night. |My son Joe graduated from Holy Cross High School today. To say that we are proud of him would be an understatement. I have made many posts on Joe, and each usually contain some sort of comment on him being a young man, or caring man, or mature young man. But now Joe graduates high school a man. Plain and simple. When you say man, it comes with all the natural qualifiers one would expect of any man. I love you Joe. Mommy and I love you, and are so proud of the man you have become. We look at you and are amazed how fast time flies. I remember the day you were born, like it was yesterday. You make us proud daily, in the way you conduct your life. No parent could ever ask for a better child. We have been blessed with 3 fine young men, and we have nothing but faith in your ability to accomplish whatever you set your heart on. We will be there always to support you. As you embark on this next phase of your life, always be true to yourself, and your faith. Maintain your personal integrity, despite any challenge you face. Enjoy your time at John Jay College, and have fun as you continue your education. Maintain proper perspective on life, trust your heart and you will do fine. God Bless You..|

A woman was in a coma and nurses were in her room giving her a sponge bath.
One of them was washing her private area and noticed that there was a response on the monitor when she touched her. They went to her husband and explained what happened, telling him, "Crazy as this sounds, maybe a little oral sex will do the trick and bring her out of the coma."
The husband was skeptical, but they assured that they'd close the curtains for privacy. The husband finally agreed and went into his wife's room. After a few minutes the woman's monitor flat lined; no pulse, no heart rate. The nurses ran into the room. "What happened?" they cried.
The husband said, "I guess she choked."

|Here's a great quote from Sen.
John McCain on the recent killing of NFL star Pat
Tillman in Afghanistan. (4/24/04)|
"I am heartbroken today by the news of Pat Tillmans death", said U.S. Sen. John McCain of Arizona,
"... But there is in Pat Tillmans example - in his unexpected choice of duty to his country over the riches and other comforts of celebrity, and in his humility - such an inspiration to all of us to reclaim the essential public-spiritedness of Americans that many of us, in low moments, had worried was no longer our common distinguishing trait...", McCain said.

An engineer of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Corporation died and went to heaven.
At the gates, St. Peter told him, "Since you've been such a good man and your motorcycles have changed the world; your reward is you can hangout with anyone you want in Heaven." The Engineer thought about it for a minute and then said, "I want to hang out with God."
St. Peter took him to the Throne Room, and introduced him to God. The engineer then asked God, "Hey, aren't you the inventor of woman?" God said, "Ah, yes." "Well," said the engineer, "professional to professional, you have some major design flaws in your invention.
> 1. There's too much inconsistency in the front-end protrusion.
> 2. It chatters constantly at high speeds.
> 3. Most of the rear ends are too soft and wobble too much.
> 4. The intake is placed way to close to the exhaust.
> 5. And finally, the maintenance costs are outrageous."
"Hmmmm, you may have some good points there," replied God "hold on."
God went to his Celestial supercomputer, typed in a few words and waited for the results. The computer printed out a slip of paper and God read it.
"Well, it may be true that my invention is flawed," God said to the engineer, "but according to these numbers, more men are riding my invention than yours."
|This just in from Roving Reporter. Finally got
something good to post. You are giving Auntie a run
for her money. Hey DC, submit shorter ones. The
attention span of a Musings reader is quite short,
and we tend to lose them with long funny stories.
Three men were sitting together bragging about how they had set their new wives straight on their housework duties.
* The first man married a woman from Pennsylvania and bragged that he had told her she was going to do all the dishes and all the house cleaning that needed done in their house. He said that it took a couple of days but on the third day he came home to a clean house and the dishes were all washed and put away.
* The second man married a woman from Jersey. He bragged that he had given his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. He said that on the first day he didnt see any results, but the next day it was better. By the third day, his house was clean, the dishes were done, and he had a huge dinner on the table.
* The third man married a New York girl. He boasted that he had informed her his house was to be cleaned, dishes washed, the cooking done and laundry washed. And this was all her responsibility. He said the first day he didnt see anything and the second day he didnt see anything either. But by the third day some of the swelling had gone down so he could see a little out of his left eye!
Got to love these New York women

|So, Al Qaeda has called a 'truce' in Spain. Check
this quote out from the letter sent to Spain |
"...Because of this decision, the leadership has decided to stop all operations within the Spanish territories... until we know the intentions of the new government that has promised to withdraw Spanish troops from Iraq," the statement said.
The Spanish people... chose peace by choosing the party that was against the alliance with America," the statement said. The newspaper planned to publish it Thursday.
|Lets hope that Spain NEVER sides with the USA again for anything, because we wouldn't want them to piss Al Qaeda off and blow more people up. Didn't anyone in Spain ever have to deal with a bully growing up ? How were we all taught to treat bullies ? You stand up to them and fight them, otherwise they will keep coming, and using you, intimidate you, and basically make a pussy out of you. Look, truth is, we don't need Spain or anyone else on the freaking planet. They will need us at some point. To bail them out, or to defend them or to provide them emergency aid, or relief. Walk away now, and make room for the mullahs to take over your country, and perhaps move right in to your political offices. I bet the next threat is to France to reverse the head scarf ban or else they will bomb the Eifel Tower. Stay tuned.|
|Here's another great article on John Kerry. Reading this today makes me wonder whether or not Mr. Kerry should be arrested on charges of aiding and abetting terrorists. Apparently he was given very specific information regarding security issues that were uncovered at Logan National airport back in May 2001. His response, was to pass the information along, because after all, the person who provided him the material wasn't one of his "constituents"|
|There is also an article that I am having trouble finding again. It covered John Kerry being interviewed during the Clinton years, where he basically took George Bush's position on national security and whether or not we need a multi-national, UN agreement to go to war to defend American security and interests. Hopefully, everyone is noticing that this guy goes with the wind and can't be trusted. And we are still 6+ months away from the election, wait until the real dirt comes out.|

|I am noticing that the papers are reporting that there were 911 days between 9-11-01 and 3-11-04. According to my date calculation program, there is actually 912 days. Can Al Qaeda not count ? Can the news agencies not validate data before presenting it ? And, I'm staying home on 4-11-04.|
|The terrorist bombing attacks in Madrid, Spain were awful reminders of what we are fighting against, and I hope it serves to bring the planet so much closer to finally deciding to rid the world of these assholes. I think that as these idiots attack other 'borderline' countries they will only succeed in briging all of us together. We support you Spain, we will stand with you.|

|With all the fuss lately about gay marriages, here is a response from the NYC Mayor's office, which to me, is at the crux of a lot of what goes on in America today. Whereby people complain about many things, yet they do not follow the proper protocol to 'effect change' properly. (3/1/04)|
In a statement, Bloombergs spokesman, Ed Skyler, said: The city clerk is following New York State law, which does not permit gay marriages. Advocates for it should spend their time persuading Albany to change the law rather than calling on the city clerk to break it. If the law is changed the mayor will make sure it is followed."

|The Lone Ranger
was ambushed and captured by an Indian war
The Indian Chief proclaims, "So, you are the great Lone Ranger. In honor of the Harvest Festival, you will be executed in three days. But, before I kill you, I will grant you three requests. What is your first request?"
The Lone Ranger responds, "I'd like to speak to my horse." The Chief nods and Silver is brought before the Lone Ranger, who whispers in Silver's ear, and the horse gallops away. Later that evening, Silver returns with a beautiful blonde woman on his back. As the Indian Chief watches, the blonde enters the Lone Ranger's tent and spends the night.
The next morning the Indian Chief admits he's impressed. "You have a very fine and loyal horse, but I will still kill you in two days. What is your second request?"
The Lone Ranger again asks to speak to his horse.
Silver is brought to him, and he again whispers in the horse's ear. As before, Silver takes off across the plains and disappears over the horizon. Later that evening, to the Chief's surprise, Silver again returns, this time with a voluptuous brunette, even more attractive than the blonde. She enters the Lone Ranger's tent and spends the night.
The following morning the Indian Chief is again impressed. "You are indeed a man of many talents, but I will still kill you tomorrow. "What is your last request?"
The Lone Ranger responds, "I'd like to speak to my horse, ....alone."
The Chief is curious, but he agrees, and Silver is brought to the Lone Ranger's tent.
Once they're alone, the Lone Ranger grabs Silver by both ears, looks him square in the eye and says, "Listen very carefully ....for the last time ....I said..... "BRING POSSE!".

|Roving Report provided this amusing piece (2/5/04)|
Hillary Clinton goes to a primary school in New York to talk about the world. After her talk she offers question time. One little boy puts up his hand, and the Senator asks him what his name is. "Kenneth." "And what is your question, Kenneth?" "I have three questions:
First - whatever happened to your medical health care plan?
Second - why would you run for President after your husband shamed the office?
Third - whatever happened to all those things you took when you left the White House?"
Just then the bell rings for recess. Hillary Clinton informs the kiddies that they will continue after recess. When they resume Hillary says, "Okay where were we? Oh, that's right, question time. Who has a question?"
A different little boy puts his hand up; Hillary points him out and asks him what his name is. " Larry." "And what is your question?" "I have five questions:
First - whatever happened to your medical health care plan?
Second - why would you run for President after your husband shamed the office?
Third - whatever happened to all those things you took when you left the White House?
Fourth - why did the recess bell go off 20 minutes early? and
Fifth - what happened to Kenneth?"

|So, besides the Janet Jackson 'booby' show at the Super Bowl last night, there was also the infamous Brit streaker Mark Roberts, who came out after half time, dressed as a referee, only to strip and begin a Riverdance routine. Seems, he warned the world he was going to try and do this at his web site http://www.thestreaker.org.uk/streaks/sbowl/sbowl.htm - I suppose we ought to be thankful he wasn't a Palestinian homicide bomber with explosives strapped to his body. stories. Here are some of the better ones : (1/26/04)|
|So, my oldest boy Jack just got done installing headers into his 5.0. Man, the car sounds sweet now. That pony hums. It's hard raising boys to respect others, teach them to live and let live, when it is a daily fight between the haves and have nots. It seems the have nots decided they needed to have one of his tires. so, middle of the night, these fucking idiots jack up his car and take one of his rear tires. As I tend to look on the bright side when such things happen, it is good they only took the tire, as taking the whole car would have been worse. I am sure there is a lesson to be learned here, so we buy a new tire, some lug locks, and move on. Hopefully, the rat bastards will put the tire onto their car, and it falls off as they are doing 90 mph.|

|DC shot this one over. It is an appropriate reminder for the French of the planet, on the issue of the English language.|
WHY IS IT THAT WE HAVE TO SPEAK ENGLISH
An officer in the U.S. Naval reserve was attending a conference that included admirals from both the U.S. Navy and the French Navy. At a cocktail reception, he found himself in a small group that included personnel from both Navies.
The French admiral started complaining that whereas Europeans learned many languages, Americans learned only English. He then asked: "Why is it that we have to speak English in these conferences rather than French?"
Without hesitating, the American Admiral replied: "Maybe it's because we arranged it so you did not have to speak German."
The group became silent.
|TV passed along this video clip. I think the male fans of the Musings will appreciate the situation. By the way, this is one of those postings that you should NOT look at Frankie J... Simply titled Who's car is better ?|

|Dec. 19 - Arabic television al Jazeera aired an audiotape purportedly from al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri, saying the United States was defeated in Afghanistan. I'm wondering to myself, could this guy be in a different part of Afghanistan ? He may also believe that we didn't catch the real Saddam, we caught one of his doubles, with a case full of $750,000, who I guess was such a good double had to hide in a hole to stay safe... Oh well, without the conspiracy theorists, we would have no entertainment whatsoever. You have leadership qualities as evidenced by the way your friends seek you out for conversation. You are respectful, sincere and loving. Qualities that will help round you out as a man. I am proud to call you Son. I Love You !!!. Happy Birthday Joe.|
|It is also my Aunt J's Birthday today. Happy Birthday AJ, and enjoy your day and night with UD.|
|Our growing Momma GG is looking beautiful, isn't she ? She just got finished with our emergency supply kit.|

Two gay men decide to have a baby. They mix their sperm, then have a surrogate mother artificially inseminated. When the baby is born, they rush to the hospital. Two dozen babies are in the ward, 23 of which are crying and screaming. One, over in the corner, is smiling serenely.
A nurse comes by, and to the gays' delight, she points out the happy child as theirs.
"Isn't it wonderful?" Brad exclaims. "All these unhappy children, and ours is so happy."
The nurse says, "He's happy now... but just wait until we take the pacifier out of his ass."
|Came across our Roving Reporter with Auntie and cousin today at the Park. Finally got that pic for Jack Jr to consider. Frank had some fun climbing the fence.|
|Ding Dong the Ghouls are gone, the ghouls are gone, the ghouls are gone. Ding Dong the psycho ghouls are gone. Well it seems the crazy Walsh's have left College Point. Not too soon enough if you ask the neighbors. Perhaps now peace can come back to 124th street. They moved out appropriately enough on Halloween. Good FUCKING riddance you psychotic family.(11/2/03)|

|SS also passed on a few of those morning after shots. The ones where your friends apply some personal touches to you as you sleep. This one is one of the better ones, and begs the question, was this a clean one ?|

Here's a tease pic for you. There are so many to choose from. The fall colors were peaking. We had a great time with Billy, Viv and kids, and with Fernando, Debbie and little Lea.|
|TV from ex-Factors fame provided a few Brooklyn Tony
items. Here is one of the best|
Brooklyn Tony returns from school and
says he got an F in arithmetic. "Why?" asks
the father? "The teacher asked 'How much is
2x3,' I said '6,'" replies TONY. "But
that's right!" says his dad. "Yeah, but
then she asked me 'How much is 3x2?'"
"What's the fucking difference?" asks the
father. "That's what I said!"
|Some news from the psychotic neighbor front. The red truck is attracting more attention and now has the side drivers window busted. Still the truck sits in front of someone else's house. Has also begun to collect tickets. Also hear one of the evil children had emergency appendectomy. Could this be God's way of saying 'chill out folks' ??? Things are picking up...(10/15/03)|
|I just got back from a business trip to the Chicago area. I took some extra time to drive down to Neoga, Illinois to visit Grandma and my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. Thank you so much UM and AL for your hospitality, I really appreciate you accommodating me on such short notice. It was GREAT to see you all and spend time with you Grandma. I love you very much, and will probably visit again soon over the next few months. Here are some pics I managed to get of Granny , me and Granny 1 , me and Granny 2 , me on the rider mower (everyone has to take this pic when they visit).|
|On the drive back up 57 North to O'Hare airport, I came upon this little accident. Not sure if anyone was hurt, but the traffic backup was unreal.|
|My boy Frank is in the process of creating a time capsule, that he plans to bury in the yard. Here we see him preparing the site.|
|My cousin MD from Illinois shot this interesting pic of Arnold at a fundraiser. Looks as though here was more being raised besides just money. Now, I tried to find this on Snopes, but haven't found anything, so draw your own conclusions on the validity of the image. Thank you future Dr. Drez...(10/7/03)|

|Heard from JoeL who moved down south to Florida. JL and RL are proud grandparents to a new grandson born 9/9/03. Another Virgo male in the world, that's always a good thing. Congratulations to your daughter and family.|
|While going through some old vintage pics, I came across this shot of the wife and kids at the top of the World Trade Center. It was taken around 1999. (9/30/03)|
|I traveled last week up Buffalo way to participate in a couple of retirement celebrations for my manager DF. Dave has completed 33 years of service to the Bank and has taken this opportunity to retire. I wish him well as he enters this next phase of his life. He can celebrate life with his beautiful bride Beverly and they can both experience the grandchildren at a much higher level of quality. You leave in your wake many friends. All who love you in their own way. Many fine careers were nourished and mentored by you, mine included, and we will never forget you. Enjoy the following vintage and current pics - pic1 , pic2 , pic3 , pic4 , pic5. Stay well my friend, and please also stay in touch. Beverly promised to visit the site often, and you can continue to contribute. Peace !!! (9/27/03)|

|Grandma D. from Neoga, Ill has been ill, and recently spent a few days in the hospital. We all wish her a speedy recovery and that we Love You very much. I'll be seeing you very soon Granny. (9/26/03)|
|Hard to believe that it has been a year already that we lost our friend Mark. I still don't think we have really come to grips with Mark's passing and the hole left in the get togethers is still there. We miss you Mark and hope that you and Ralph are setting things up for when we all arrive over time. Please take some time to remember Mark and visit the Mark Cascia memorial page (9/21/03)|
|Fished out this old photo of Fearless Leader back in his day. Actually he still plays like this to this day.|
|Well it's my birfday. Alive another year, another year wiser. Another year of living in fear under our belts. Things and people change over time. Learn to accept it and adapt. Always remember to be happy with yourself first. Don't sweat the little stuff. Be a skom and enjoy the sweet little things in life :-)|
|It seems our favorite psychotic neighbor has a new fan. And this time there is someone crazier than him. Some street justice was served courtesy of a boulder. With things the way they are I suspect we have visits to look forward to by detectives. Oh well, he got what he deserved and at least that guy ain't out 5k so far... (9/20/03)|
|ET sent in this image of Baker Company serving in Iraq. Thanks to 1st Sgt Dave Jobe. It is their tribute to the 2nd anniversary of 9/11. Never Give Up, Never Give In, Never Forget, Never Again. (9/19/03)|
|My oldest son is 19 today. Happy Birthday Jack. Mom and Dad love you very much. You have made us very proud parents. Soon you'll have your car on the road and you can enjoy life a bit more. You deserve it. You work hard and go to college and need to have time to enjoy life.|
|Our Roving Reporter has been MIA lately. Hope all is well there and that CS has not forgotten her responsibility to the Musings page. And, with Jack being 19 now and almost with a car, it is time again to suggest they meet and get to know one another... who knows, perhaps there are seeds of love there... (9/18/03)|
|My middle son Joe took his driving test today and PASSED with flying colors. Atta boy Joe. Mom and Dad are so proud of you. Now all you have to do is buy a car !!! - We Love You and Congratulations...|

|My boy Frank started playing for new College Point team today. Got 2 hits, one of them a double, and also stole home. Way to go boy. Got new shirt and hat. It's also a historic event since this is College Point's first Snowflake team ever. (9/13/03)|
|SS shot this over, and for those of you in the IT Services industry can appreciate the irony in this image of What the customer wanted. (9/12/03)|
|Yesterday 9/9/03 the FDNY had the final memorial service/burial for the last of the 343 firefighters lost on 9/11. Hard to believe that 2 years have passed and families are still burying loved ones or whatever parts of them they can find, and the pain continues. 2 Years have passed and it still hurts. We New Yorkers have done pretty good all things considered. We live and feel the pain each and every day. We live not knowing if today is the next attack. We leave our families each morning to go to work, not knowing if we won't be back. We've 'Moved On' as they say. But we must 'Never Forget'. I know I can never forget the images of the day, week, year, 2 years. I know I can't forget the smell that lingered for months or the images burned into my head when I close my eyes. We have family and friends we work with each day, who suffered losses, and we continue, because we must. Oh, we do forget from time to time, like when we plan to travel, or argue with our friends, families or loved ones. We shouldn't, but we do. I am sorry Rosanne. I do get caught up in things myself as hard as I try not to. As painful as it can be, I do think we need to remind ourselves of what happened, so do watch the memorials, the documentaries and read the people stories, because that is what it is all about. And do cry, cause it does help, trust me. But please, 'Never Forget' and God Bless America.|
|Take some time and re-visit my 9/11 memorial page. http://www.jackleone.com/wtc091101.htm . You won't find depressing photos. Only patriotic symbols of the human spirit from that event.(9/10/03)|
|Here is a vintage shot we came across while going thru old wedding pics. My bride and some friends at our wedding. Hey DnC, look how young you looked then !! (9/8/03)|
|So the wife rolls over in the middle of the night and knocks me in the mouth with her fat elbow. Knocks one of my teef right out. Don't believe me, here it is. I sure hope this pops back in, or I be UGLY for a long time to come..|

|Some interesting articles regarding the Blackout of 2003. This one suggests that Al Qaeda caused the outage, for a small cost I might add --> http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article4475.htm . This one goes back to June 2003 and covers the exposure to our infrastructure with some scary facts identified. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article4478.htm . Draw your own conclusions, but do have the debate. The risk is real and the faster we consider the implications in our daily lives the better off we will all be.|
|Some images of NYC during the blackout. Thanks to the Elusive Sail Capri for the submissions. Blackout Pic1 , Blackout Pic2. (8/21/03)|
|People are starting to wonder. Every time something happens lately in Manhattan, I am conveniently out of town... While you all dealt with the power outage for 29+ hours, I was for the most part in air conditioned environments while I was stranded up in the Buffalo area unable to get a flight back home. Walking the streets of downtown Buffalo you would never know that most of the northeast power grid was without power. I do have a photo to share with you as I snapped this on my way to Canada for a conference. It is the Niagra Mohawk power plant. Draw your own conclusions...|
|I thank my wife and EVERY one of my colleagues and associates for the REMARKABLE commitment they showed to handle this crisis. This is the time that New Yorkers show their true grit and I am proud to be associated with everyone involved. My wife is the primary point of contact for our leg of the family and she also maintains our emergency reaction kit and supplies. All worked as expected and as I am sure all others have found, improvements can be made. Here is a pic of the wife after the event. She looks tired, because she is. Regardless, she is still beautiful to me. Thank You Rosanne --- I LOVE YOU !!!|
|As far as the job is concerned, I have a lot of love for our team as well. My managers CS, GB, ET, SY get an equal share of my love when it comes to how they handled their organizations. You guys are the BEST. We have many stories and personal adventures to share and each of you are to be commended for your actions. My hat goes off to the facilities and security folks, whose equipment and processes supported us throughout the entire event flawlessly (with some room to improve). All worked as was designed and it is humbling to see these teams at work under these conditions, all the while maintaining positive attitudes. My boy Roy and his team of what used to be blue shirts did a remarkable job considering the situation we were in. This was the day they all have been training for as we have exercised routine generator tests for 20+ years. It all paid off today my friend and you ought to be mighty proud of your group, because I sure am.... THANK YOU !!!|

Look here, old chap, what are you doing?" the officer asked.
"I'm sorry," the American replied, but I really gotta take a leak."
"You can't do that here," the officer told him. "Look, follow me."
The police officer led him to a beautiful garden with lots of grass,
pretty flowers, and manicured hedges. "Here," said the policeman,
The American tourist shrugged, turned, unzipped, and started
pissing on the flowers. "Ahhh," he said in relief. Then turning
toward the officer, he said, "This is very nice of you. Is this British
"No," retorted the policeman. "It's the French Embassy
|Never again in your
lifetime will the Red Planet be so spectacular!|
This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars, an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the last 5,000 years but it may be as long as 60,000 years.
On August 27, Mars will come within 34,649,589 miles and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August, Mars will rise in the East at 10 p.m. and reach its azimuth at about 3 a.m. But by the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30 a.m. That's pretty convenient when it comes to seeing something that no human has seen in recorded history. So mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month.
Share with your friends, children and grandchildren. No one alive today
will ever see this again!

|Our roving reporter CS provided this 'borderline' dumb blonde joke. Seems like we are scraping the bottom of the barrel. (8/4/03)|
A girl calls her boyfriend and says, "Please come over here and help me... I have a killer jigsaw puzzle, and I can't figure out how to get it started."
Her boyfriend asks, "What is it supposed to be when it's finished?" The girl says, "According to the picture on the box, it's a tiger." Her boyfriend decides to go over and help with the puzzle.
She lets him in and shows him where she has the puzzle spread all over the table. He studies the pieces for a moment, hen looks at the box, then turns to her and says, "First of all, no matter what we do, we're not going to be able to assemble these pieces into anything resembling a tiger." He held her hand and said, "
Second, I'd advise you to relax. Let's have a drink, then ..." he sighed, and said "Let's put all these Frosted Flakes back in the box.
|UNBELIEVABLE. I go out on 2 weeks vacation and the 1st day out we had a bomb scare at the job. http://www.nypost.com/news/regionalnews/1826.htm . Some knucklehead tries to rob the branch, handcuffs the manager to a suitcase he says contains a bomb, and the fun began. Buildings were evacuated while the cops sort this all out. Here are some pics of the poor manager with the suitcase - pic1 , pic2 and the fake bomb , which turned out to be painted broomsticks, wire and tape. Steve who was my OIC did a fine job securing our people, keeping management informed and moving command and control to our NJ facility.|

|So, it looks like there is going to be another Leone male in the family. My brother's lovely pregnant wife had a sonogram done and seems the bun has one of those male appendages. She knew it right away cause it was the same size as Bro's. If I can get my hands on the pic, I'll scan and post. If not, I think I have one of Bro when he was a tyke we can share. Since the things are identical, you can get an idea of what we're talking about ... Here's the pic|
|Remember the run away turtle ? Well, our neighbor across the street found him/her/it crossing the street this morning. I guess it found his/her/it's way out of the yard. And all this time, my boys thought I took the critter for a ride. You see, Dad ain't the kind of guy you think he is. On the other hand, the hamster they got, that was by himself for the past 2 weeks, seems to have had an immaculate conception, cause it gave birth yesterday and now we got 3 hamsters, and there best not be anymore coming, or there is a long ride in their future ...|
|Our roving reporter CS followed a recent flurry of submissions with this Little Johnny diddy. CS thinks that your chances of getting posted increase with the volume you send in. WRONG. It's the QUALITY that counts. And you're in College ? Geez !!!|
Little Johnny was in his nursery class when the teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living.
All the typical answers came up - fireman, policeman, salesman, etc...
Johnny was being uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his father.
"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes, if the offer's really good, he'll go out to the alley with them."
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some coloring, and turned to Little Johnny to ask him, "Is that really true about your father?"
"No," said Johnny, "he plays for the Mets but I was too embarrassed to say so."
|TV sent in one of those illusion photos. You know the kind, where you have to stare at it so your mind focuses to see something else. Well, I've been staring at this all day, and either my mind is shot, or TV is full of shit, but I can't make out the waterfall, no matter how hard I try. Perhaps you'll have more luck. (7/17/03)|
|Remember that turtle my boy got recently ? Well, there has been a breakout. Seems the turtle climbed out of the contraption he was in. No one knows how he did it, but he's out and roaming around the yard. Figure he'll either mosey on home soon, or else the critters who live out there at night will get to him. I suspect the latter is more likely to happen.|
