Here's me and MZ at work.
ScoobtyFitz files this from the streets. Out with the old and in with the new. Getting ready to hang the new jewelry store sign.
KT was recently married from work, and CC and his beautiful wife attended the wedding.
Happy Birthday to KP, she turns 24. We wish her dad a speedy recovery from recent back surgery.

Here's some more NoBama stuff - having to do with the dual citizenship storyline that's developing.
Our retired Navy friend JgA was in Washington DC to visit with NY Rep Vito Fossella. Here he is taking a picture in Vito's office, with his painting titled Fallen Steel on the wall.
While walking thru DC, JgA was interviewed by a local cable channel.
Please make time to visit JgA's updated web site.
TR is always on the lookout for us. Here he submits his latest find, a real pig with lipstick.
I don't pretend to have an explanation for this, but, the Big Guy from down Tampa way sends this in, and I always defer to the Big Guy. Especially when he submits one butt ugly monkey.
The Elusive Sail Capri checks in with this story that shows how the NY Times gathers it's information.
A man is walking through the zoo when he sees a little girl leaning into the lion's cage. Suddenly, the lion grabs her by the cuff of her jacket and tries to pull her inside to devour her right in front the little girl's screaming parents. The man runs to the cage, hits the lion square on the nose with a powerful punch.
Whimpering from the pain, the lion jumps back letting go of the girl, and the man returns her to her terrified parents.
A reporter has seen the whole scene and says to the rescuer, 'Sir, this was the most gallant and brave thing I saw a man do in my whole life.'
'Why, it was nothing,' said the man. 'Really, the lion was behind bars and I knew God would protect me just as He did Daniel in the lion's den long, long ago. I just saw this little kid in danger, and acted as I felt was right.'
'I noticed a Bible in your pocket. Are you a Republican?,' asked the journalist.
'Yes, and I'm a Christian on my way to a Bible study,' the man replies.
'Well, I'll make sure this won't go unnoticed. I'm a journalist for the New York Times and tomorrow's paper will have this on the front page.'
The journalist leaves. The following morning the man buys the New York Times to see if it indeed brings news of his actions, and reads on first page:
'Right Wing Republican Christian Fundamentalist Assaults African Immigrant and Steals His Lunch.'
I report, you decide. A few rants about Obama and Obama's Mama. Spend some time on this guys site, some interesting material.

Malba turns 100 this year.
We just had our bedroom made over, floor sanded and stained. I ripped out the carpets a few weeks ago, and the room looks so much warmer and richer with the wood floors. Can't wait till we do the living room.

My oldest son, Jack Jr turns 24 years old today. Jack is a fine young man, who exhibits maturity and compassion for his fellow man. He is a hard worker and a wonderful son. We are so proud of you Jack, and we love you very much. Happy Birthday !!!
Here's something I hope NYC looks into. Need a way to deal with the pet owners who take their dogs to other peoples houses so they can crap there instead of their own front lawn, or down the park for your kid to roll around in it. Collect a DNA Sample and trace the poop back and fine the bastards.
PBS has a short video on Sarah Palin on their website. Also included is a poll that asks: Is Sarah Palin qualified to be VP? I logged on a few minutes ago and 37% percent had voted YES, 62% NO. Let's turn this around..... You don't have to give your name or email address in order to vote. It's very simple. PBS hates conservatives - Here's the link: http://www.pbs.org/now/polls/poll-435.html
Take the B. Hussein Obama test, and see if the chosen one really does speak for you.
From TR, here is BHO at his very best. Making mistakes during speeches, and getting the facts wrong, as usual. Lucky for him the Ds don't get too worked up with facts, they just like dem words he uses.

It seems to me that the end is near for Iran. So much more information has come out, and now this data about attempts to convert a missile nose-cone, with photographs. When the IAEA states a concern, can we all now listen ? We all need to factor this 'foreign policy' issue into our voting calculations.
"... Western concern was heightened by a revelation in the IAEA report that Iran may have had "foreign expertise" helping in experiments on a detonator applicable to an implosion-type nuclear blast occurring at high altitude..."
The mirrored disk array I purchased last year just paid for itself. One of the drives in the array failed, the tool reported it, told me which disk to replace. I replaced it and it did a rebuild to re-sync the pair. Could have been a little less quirky, but it did work. When I bought it it was around $300, it's much lower now, and is a good investment for anyone who wants to protect their data. Western Digital 1TB/500GB mirrored disk
I see this NYC Ducks tour bus pass me each day on 5th avenue. Turns out it really does go into the water as part of the tour. Way kool, I can't wait to go myself.

It's hard to believe it's been 7 years since the attacks on America. For me, I think of that day each and every day and I still hurt. I find it amazing that we continue to identify victims to this day. Please take the time today to reflect upon that day, and be reminded of the evil that attacked us, and the fact they continue to try to attack us every day of their lives. We must Never Forget. We've lost a lot of people since then trying to stop future attacks and to try to bring freedom to other countries. For our way of life to survive, we must persevere. God Bless America !!!

Roving Reporter turns in a philosophical piece. And an accurate one at that.
Quote for the day:"Whatever you give a woman, she's going to multiply. If you give her sperm, she'll give you a baby.If you give her a house, she'll give you a home.If you give her groceries, she'll give you a meal.If you give her a smile, she'll give you her heart. She multiplies and enlarges what is given to her.So - if you give her any crap, you will receive a ton of shit."Love and appreciate all the women in your life.

More on the closeted Barry the muslim
This all comes on the heels of him making another gaffe, by saying he visited 57 US States. Perhaps he meant the 57 Muslim states that are part of the OIC. Remember, 'there is no such thing as a little coincidence ..."
Or is Barry mentally fatigued ? He remembers his father's flag-draped coffin...
As we approach the anniversary of 9/11, TR sends us a video link, put together by 15 year old Lizzie Palmer. Remember Me.
I'm a big believer of the Planet X - Nibiru concerns and their connection to various 2012 prophecy. I also don't buy into the whole man-made global warming for the reasons for our strange sever weather. I think the reasons are much more serious and link to the above. So, here are a variety of posts that try to explain why all of the celestial bodies in our solar system are also heating up. That's right, other planets and moons are also experiencing temperature rises. Go figure that out.
We hear from Roving Reporter, and she provides us with information on why the coffee machine may not be working properly.

Sometimes, the animal kingdom seems just so cruel. At least to us it does. Last night we watched a mother racoon drop her sickly kit from a tree, she then came down, shook it to death and left it. We see it as cruel, but in reality, she put the kit out of its misery.
I spotted this slick Lamborghini cruising down 5th avenue the other day.
Our boy, TG, sends in this flashback to the 60's. Enjoy. http://objflicks.com/TakeMeBackToTheSixties.htm
Here's a good article about B. Hussein Obama's association to Bill 'I don't regret setting bombs. ... I feel we didn't do enough.' Ayers. Remember my earlier caution about Socialists ?, Well Anarchist Terrorists ain't much better for you either.
Good luck to my Floridian friends, TR, JpL and WFP the Big Guy are about to get slammed around with some mighty 'canes headed their way. Sit tight, and keep your heads low.
Not sure who to vote for ? With our choice between an American and a Socialist, I can understand some of the difficulty people might have. Especially those of us lacking in personal responsibility characteristics. AT sends us a handy website that breaks down the candidates positions and lays out the data in an easy to understand format. http://www.2008electionprocon.org/summarychart.htm (hint: avoid Socialism)

McCain is one classy guy. Checkout McCain Congratulates Obama on Historic Victory
I have been talking about the possibility of John McCain picking Gov Sarah Palin for Vice President, and now he has. Good choice, excellent woman, I wish them luck. She's also quite attractive, and has my vote. Here is a link to her biography on the Alaskan state web site.
They are preparing Bryant Park for the Fashion Week events. No more grass, just big private tents.
It was good to see our colleague from Chicago, JH. He's much leaner than our last visit.
Here's an interesting ad out by some group called the American Issues Project. It highlights the special relationship Barack America Obama has with William Ayers.
"... The fact that Barack Obama chose to launch his political career at the home of an unrepentant terrorist raises more questions about Senator Obama's judgment than any TV ad ever could," McCain spokesman Brian Rogers said.
Ayers has admitted to involvement in the bombings of U.S. governmental buildings in the 1970s.
"I don't regret setting bombs. I feel we didn't do enough," he told the New York Times in an interview released Sept. 11, 2001
"Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon," Ayers wrote in his memoirs, "Fugitive Days."
The American Issues Project ad says, "Barack Obama is friends with Ayers, defending him as, quote, 'Respectable' and 'Mainstream.' Obama's political career was launched in Ayers' home. And the two served together on a left-wing board. Why would Barack Obama be friends with someone who bombed the Capitol and is proud of it? Do you know enough to elect Barack Obama?"

I caught this Lamborghini buzzing around Malba the other day.
Believe it or not, I couldn't get my camera out fast enough to get the front view of this BIG man. It is comforting to know that no matter how much weight I might gain, I can always buy clothes that fit.

Here's a story from TR that warms the cockles of me heart
While visiting some friends, I was talking to their
little girl, and she said she wanted to be President some day.
Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her, 'If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?'
She replied, 'I'd give houses to all the homeless people.' Her parents were beaming with pride at her answer.
'Wow - what a worthy goal.' I told her, 'You don't have to wait until you're President to do that.
You can come over to my house and mow, pull weeds, and sweep my yard, and I'll pay you $50.
Then I'll take you over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out, and you can give him the $50 to use toward a new house.'
She thought that over for a few seconds 'cause she's only 6.
And while her Mom glared at me, she looked me straight in the eye and asked,
'Why doesn't the homeless guy come over and do the work, and you can just pay him the $50?'
And I said, 'Welcome to the Republican Party.'
Her folks still aren't talking to me.
Here's some more 2012 research and information to consume.
I'm really gonna miss 5th avenue. Checkout this perty-handsome sight I came across. I had to follow herm into the dollar store to snap these pics. Without the pic to look at, you would never believe me if I told you I saw this.
Me and my honey went to see the Allman Brothers at Jones Beach. They were OK, a bit long with the instrumentals. We liked Bob Weir and Ratdog who opened for them better.
Checkout this 1963 Chevy Impala that came down 5th avenue the other day. Great shape.
I find it curious that B. Hussein Obama has to publish a 40 page response to a book they don't like. I've taken the time to read the response document, and he seems to be making too much out of one mans opinions. His responses seem very defensive and repetitive and I'm sure any psychologist reading it would wonder what is going on deep inside this mans mind. If Corsi's book is full of lies, distortions and half-truths, then leave it be, rest on your record and your actions and let intelligent people form their own opinions of you. Any book filled with lies and innuendo will be taken for what it is. You give the man credibility when you attack him the way the response is structured. I read it and it is full of name calling, drama and intense negativity.
First off, I want to thank ScoobyFitz and his talented son AF for their help, and technical expertise for what I am about to announce. After much thought and soul searching, I've decided to run for President of the United States. For only one reason. I love my country. Now I know what you're thinking. This guy is nucking futs if he thinks anyone is going to vote for him. But we've tested the waters in a small town in Colorado, and we think we have a good chance. I mean look who I'm going up against. Here's a news report produced by AF that I think you will enjoy, regarding my candidacy. www.News3Online.com reports on unknown phenom

Checkout this Dennis Prager piece entitled - Why I am not a liberal. Mr Prager does a wonderful job at itemizing the core values, and attitudes towards the world and life in general for our type of society. And he does so in very simple words and terms. If I had to record my reasons these would be included. I would go so far as to suggest the even liberals really do feel this way, they just can't bring themselves to say it out loud. Let the discussion begin.
Read Aliza Davidovit's How the West will be won, and be afraid, be very afraid.
I love when Mychal Massie goes after B. Hussein Obama. Here he dissects BHOs interaction and stuttering response to a 7 year old with a question, and explains how America not good enough for Obama's children. I should note that during his response, he didn't once state that one of the reasons he wanted to be President of the United States was because he loved his country. Not once.
ScoobyFitz contributes our first pic of the rumored new building we are moving into at 7 World Trade Center. They ain't said nothing yet about what happens to data centers or even IT in general, so maybe we all ain't going there ... we'll see, but enjoy the pic anyways.
Here's the Russian perspective on the fighting in Georgia. Interesting.
Bought my honey a little balloon doggie from a street vendor. Real nice, ain't it ?
It's been an exciting weekend in College Point. 2 shootings in as many days. I chased 6 teenagers from neighbors yards Friday night, as gunshots rang out from around the block. Seems they were running away from this. We had the whole crime scene unit exercise, detectives, sealed streets. We even saw Det. MH who helped us during the MW episodes. Then early this morning, we heard that there was another shooting on our block a few houses away. My folks even heard it, but we slept thru it all. There's even bullet holes in a neighbors front window, cause 2 houses were hit. They took away a young man from the one of the homes. Det MH came by and was interviewing the neighbors again. They think that both shootings were related. Should be fun around here for the next few weeks as they sort this out.
Cadet Sgt. Joe passed his NYPD driving test and obstacle course. He's now capable to drive cop cars really fast, skidding, and sliding and all sorts of fun, so look out New York....
So, let's try to analyze the John Edwards revelation that he DID in fact have an affair, despite the repeated denials to the public. The National Enquirer reports 2 things, he had an affair, and a love child. Johnny denies both, repeatedly. The mainstream press doesn't run anything, cause they want to be fair, even though they had the same info. He finally admits to half the story, continues to deny the other half. Mainstream only runs half after he comes out. Johnny continues to deny it's his kid, but for some reason, he stills sees this woman, years after he said it was over. Whose kid do you think it is ? Who are you going to believe and trust now, the mainstream media, or the National Enquirer ? Who ends up being the truly honorable, 'we report you decide outlet' ? The National Enquirer, that's who ! And Johnny thinks he may still get a job in B. Hussein Obama's cabinet, if he becomes President. Since he has a big D after his name, he may actually have a shot, had their been a big R, he'd be toast. In fact, I bet you won't even hear his party affiliation in any more of the mainstream news reports on this fuckhead.
There was sad news this morning, Bernie Mac died, he was 50 years old. One very funny man, and he will be missed.

Our CEO confirmed today that our building is for sale. That's a shame. This is a real nice building and complex and I hope we ain't all leaving it. I've been at 452 5th avenue for my entire 29 years. I'm really going to miss this spot. NY Public Library, Bryant Park, Times Square, Empire State Building, Grand Central, etc... Not that I visit these locations, since I don't move from my perch, but I know they are nearby and they're nice :-) I did spend a lot of time at 111 Pavonia when we were building that data center, but it's been the Tower that we've all come to love. He didn't speak to the other rumors, that they plan to move most of us to 7 World Trade Center. More to come I'm sure ...
Here's an interesting article and video about candidate B. Hussein Obama. He can't even speak to a 7 year old without stuttering...

Today marks my 29th year at the Bank. When I started it was Republic National Bank of New York, today it is HSBC Bank USA. I don't know, perhaps it's just me, but Alisa is way hotter than Ashley. Don't you think ? And you don't have the coodies factor to worry about with Alisa. Have her get a few tats, and all is good. attacks than us;
2. Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart
attacks than us;
3. Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer
heart attacks than us;
4. Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and
suffer fewer heart attacks than us; and
5. Germans drink beer and eat lots of sausages and fats

I was saddened to learn of the passing of Bobby Murcer. I was lucky to get the chance to meet him at a books signing a couple of months ago. He looked frail and weak then, and needed a break during signing, but he came back to finish for the fans. Take care Bobby.
Here's my post from 5/28/08
The countdown to ETs retirement has reach double-digits now. And boy is he ever ready to go.
This comes to us from Roving Reporter.
FrankieV dropped by the other day, and joined me in the pool.
Here are pics from Rosanne and Frank's Montauk vacation. Frank & Rosanne in Montauk June/July 2008
Here's a shot of part of the 124th street 'crew'. Junior and Kevin.
The robins and cardinals attacked our caterpillars, and a few got away when we left them uncovered. So' we're down to 3 cocoons, but have a bunch new eggs to nurture. Stay tuned. Butterfly pics should be soon.
Just asking, but who went where they shouldn't and resulted in a parking ticket that Dad has to cover ?
My backyard is like a nature preserve. We gots all sorts of critters back there. At night we even have bats, and I am pretty sure that I was attacked by the bat the other night. Ro says it was a big black moth, and I say, no ma'am, that was no moth, that was a nighttime bat attack...
Sad news to hear that Tony Snow passed away. He was a pretty good guy.
If you know me, I talk about this particular concern a lot these days. Congress is now reviewing this potential threat of the US being attacked by an EMP blast. When Iran reports as a success the mid-air explosion of their rockets, it has to concern you too ...
Happy Birthday Dubya. You've been a good president and a decent, honorable man.
My AJ sends this one in, and it is quite timely. We just all had to take a workplace violence WBT and this should have accompanied it. Definite signs that your colleague needs help.
Happy Birthday America. As we celebrate the birth of our nation, we all should take the time to reflect on how much we've changed, the good times that we have enjoyed, as well as the painful ones that helped us to mature as a people and a way of life. It took and still takes the children of our citizens to sacrifice themselves for the rest of us. Some families we know live with that sacrifice each day of their remaining lives, and I try to imagine that with each interaction I have with my fellow Americans. It ain't easy either, is it ? , when you come across some very selfish, mean and nasty people some days. There are many powers, both internal and external that attempt to undermine us every chance they get. They try to pit you against me, us against them, green against blue. We need to resist these urges to 'go to our own corners' and stand together as a people and a way of life. WE do it each day at work, and I am convinced that if all of America conducted themselves as we do at the Bank in IT, this country can survive anything. God Bless America, God Bless our People, and please
Getting ready for my BBQ, MaryBeth came with her patriotic bathing suit.
Here's a timely warning from DnC. Be careful today with fireworks. Another reason why alcohol & fireworks don't mix! Well, its that time of the year to appoint a NEW Idiot. Just when you think you have seen it all.. Please join me and give a warm welcome to our new winner...
Heard that Bozo died. The end is near. What kind of God takes Bozo before Michael Jackson ? You won't be seeing Bozo in any more cartoons ....

Congratulations to AR at work, 46 years on the job today. All's I can say is Holy Fucking WOW!!!
Joe has his opinions, and he ain't afraid to express them. Here's a recent submission in response to a negative comment left by an angry person over George Carlin's passing. The boy takes after his dad ... How comforting to know the Leone 'tude lives on. I think belligerence is in my DNA.
We have about 21 caterpillars growing. They are doing great, and are getting quite big. See if you can find all 7 in the pic.
The replacement building on the old NDM site is almost done, and the building looks nice.
Happy Birthday shout-out to my friend up Buffalo way, DF.
Now that school's out, my boy Frank got his ear pierced. You look kool boy... I'm gonna call you Puff Mary
The Elusive Sail Capri checks in with these amazing photos of multi-colored, striped icebergs. Enjoy. ScoobyFitz is already planning his next adventure.
Here's a good shot of Joe, Frank and Ro at Jones Beach.
We have our first batch of caterpillars and eggs growing. Should have beautiful butterflies in a few weeks.
Not a Carlinism, but funny
If a man is standing in the middle of the forest speaking and there is no woman around to hear him...is he still wrong?
Here's a pretty good George Carlin site to start out from. Check out the documents link.
Here's another one
It really sucks to hear that George Carlin died. We really like him. Probably cause I can relate to his cynicism and sarcastical wit. Here's one of many links out there with his material. Surf away !!!
My Uncle Nick would have been 73 today. The family still hurts from losing him, and we will always have you in our thoughts each day of our lives. I Love You, and I miss you Zeke ! Please visit the Nicholas Leone Memorial page
Congratulations go out to my niece SrA, and nephew, VL who both graduate today.

Wongs have a new baby.
This just in from Roving Reporter, and it is spectacular and frightening at all once. A walk with me view of some place called Caminito del Rey, in some area in Spain called El Chorro. Enjoy and be sure to go full screen with it. Here's more information on Caminito del Rey.
Being the shameless promoter that I am, I acquired a few caps and designed a new logo for the Musings. If you want to help spread the Musings to others, stop by and pickup a hat.
My brother sent me a bunch of old photos he had made into prints from old slides. Checkout the latest Vintage Pics from Nick.
Today BP celebrates 20 years at the Bank. I remember when he started and we knew he was special. We love ya Bruce !!! I don't know about making 21 years, but enjoy yourself.

Here's a pic of Ro, breaking the law ...
Look who we spotted at the park. DG and her friend D. DG attends John Jay and is doing quite well.
Work continues on the building that replaced NDM Service station.
Frank is ready for summer vacation.
Here's me in my new specs, with my BFF.
As we approach the 7th anniversary of 9/11, it's important to remember that we continue to identify remains to this day.
Here we have identified one more victim, with over a 1,000 still not. We must Never Forget.
My nephew, the Vinman turns 20 years old today. You've become a fine young man, and we are all proud of you, and we love you. Happy Birthday Vinny !!!
Here's an interesting article regarding Iran and uranium enrichment. It seems to connect some recent dots. Makes me glad to live in New York, cause, we go first. I be too old and heavy to live without electricity ....
Read about the Jaw-dropping lunacy of the Supreme Court, as noted by Joseph Farah.
I spotted Walter Weiner outside the bank the other day., He used to be the CEO of Republic National Bank. He has aged quite a bit since I saw him last. And no, I don't think the redhead is his wife Nina Weiner....
I came across a NYPD photo shoot at the library the other day.
It was good seeing JB and her handsome son MK. They are working together at the family business now. Good luck to you both.
Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there. I'm blessed to have the sons I have and the dad that God gave me. I Love You Dad !!!
There are many wedding parties that come to Whitestone Park for their photographs. This one used a 1930's era Rolls Royce today.
From TR, the story of Jose and Carlos
Jose and Carlos
Jose and Carlos are beggars. They beg in different areas of town.
Carlos begs for the same amount of time as Jose, but collects only eight or nine dollars every day.
Jose brings home a suitcase of ten-dollar bills every day.
He drives a Mercedes, lives in a mortgage-free house, and has a lot of money to spend.
'Hey, amigo,' Carlos says to Jose, 'I work just as long and hard as you do, so how come you bring home a suitcase full of ten-dollar bills everyday?'
Jose says, 'Look at your sign, what does it say'?
Carlos' sign reads:
'I have no work, a wife and 6 kids to support.'
'What's wrong with that?' Carlos asks him .
Jose says, 'No wonder you only get eight or nine dollars!'
Carlos says, 'All right, so what does your sign say?'
Jose shows Carlos his sign. It reads:
'I only need another ten dollars to move back to Mexico.'
Here's the photo I created to celebrate Joe's graduation from John Jay College.
I've been under the weather for the past few days. Even missed 2 days of work. I think I caught some sort of stomach virus. Feeling a bit better now, and have a ton of stuff backed up to be reviewed and posted. Stay tuned.
ES sends in this pic of a bunny nest found at a site he's working at.

Our boy ScoobyFitz took some great pics of the lightning from the storm the other night. His son AF put it together and posted it on YouTube, enjoy the lights.

Here's an interesting story, sent in by my honey. 16,500 condoms delivered to Antartica, before winter sets in. I read the story, and come to the conclusion that the 125 people in Antartica have a lot of sex. It averages out to 2.75 condoms, per person, per week for the years supply they received. And since it usually only takes 1 condom per PAIR of people, one assumes that these folks are having sexy time 5 times a week..... When's the next flight ?
From TR, the idiot quote of the century...
"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."
This come by way of Fla fron JpL. Funny he should send this, seeing that I had my eyes checked today, and they used the very same old guy eye chart.
Roving Reporter has an important warning to send to all you females out there. There is a new mammogram scam out there, so please breast beware the mammoscam.
This too comes from my honey, ny way of Dotty. Remember the 60's ?
My son Jack is on his way to Florida, aboard a Jet Blue flight. He phones in this pic of the stewardess he took with his cellphone. Wow, I never get this flight.
Roving Reporter sends in this pic she came across on the road. Now that's she over 21, she can make these kind of stops. Beer is now cheaper than gas.
From Large, for the ladies
F Take a Report, you're done.
Here's a pic my brother can appreciate. He wakes up each day to this.
Hey son, when you're 'on the job', don't do this.
Here's an idea for ET as he nears his retirement. What better way to say goodbye to the boss ?
This is from my AJ. If the clouds are giving you the finger, best you stay inside that day.
Did you see the headline in the Detroit press the other day.
Claims that Clinton was going to meet with Osama, instead of Obama. Check the video report done by the local Fox station. I like the girl they interview with the star tattoos
The First Reformed Church had a fire yesterday, and most of the steeple was badly burned. Our boys attended bible school here when they were very young. This is an old church in College Point and we hope they can repair it.
Here's a NYC cab all ready for the Puerto Rican Day parade tomorrow.
I don't know what Banana Boat is all about, but it required 3 guys in tuxedos to walk down Fifth Avenue yesterday
So, I'm in the men's room minding my own business, when this huge fucking roach strolls by. When I told CC about it, he asked me if it was 'flying' !!! Flying ? If this flew, I would have ended up with a load of shite in me pants.
OK folks. I'm a cynic. Anyone who knows me knows that. How long before the gov't claimsof your remains. Hey. Once you're dead, you're theirs...I say watch the fuck out!
Did you see these guys who climbed the side of the NY Times building tonight ? Crazy dudes.
BH provides an interesting link to an Independence Day quiz. Click here: Independence Day Quiz
The Elusive Sail Capri checks in with these extraordinary history lessons. Read and be amazed.
Check this amazing image out. It's from TR, and it shows 18,000 servicemen forming the Statue of Liberty. Of course, this took place 90 years ago, and now there is probably some law that says you can't do this any longer.

This link is circulating as a speech given by Jay Leno. In fact, it's an article posted in 2006 by Craig Smith from WorldNetDaily. Enjoy, it's good to read. Made in the USA - Spoiled Brats
Here's an interesting article about Michelle Obama that may help explain why Hillary is not dropping out just yet...
Here's another great article and practical opinion from Mychal Massie. No one can explains things as clearly as this man can. 'What Obama really believes'
Today is my brother Nick's birthday. Happy Birthday bro, I Love You.
It's also the kid across the streets birthday, C is 5 years old today.
Here are the pics from Joseph Leone John Jay College Graduation - May 2008
We held a lunch reception today for two colleagues. Christopher Conner & Tom Cushing both reached 20 years of loyal service to the Bank in May. 20 years at one place is remarkable these days. These two gentlemen are key contributors to our success as a team at work, and I am honored to work with them each day. Congratulations gentlemen !!! It was great hosting you and your families, as well as your colleagues from work. Here are some pics from the lunch.
Some problem at my hosting provider kept the Musings offline for a few hours. Sorry if you tried to visit and found us not here.
"Respect the voters that did not turn out" Howard Dean said this along with a bunch of other bullshit today. Think about that sentence. Respect people who didn't exercise their right to vote. Respect people who didn't have same respect for the system ? I don't get it. Maybe I'm dense. He also stated it was time to heal the American people. So, you have rules, they are broken by the states who understood the consequences, and now you want to heal them ? Who are you healing ? How do you heal them ? Change the rules ? After the game starts ? What are we teaching our young with this silly idea. Dubya has a word for this behavior, it's called 'appeasement'. They ought to see what the rules state is required to happen, and stick with it, and if they don't like it anymore, change the fucking rules for the next contest. Everyone needs to just grow up. Poor B. Hussein Obama wasn't even on the ballot for one of the states, so how can he get any votes out of this anyway ? How can you give 'undecided' votes to an individual, no less an individual who wasn't even on the ballot ? It's like watching 3 year olds at the park settling a dispute. Comical.
