couple of days and captures our Flora & Fauna, Orchard Beach & World's Fair
Park. Most of the flower shots are taken in our yard. Ro has an amazing
assortment of flowers and plants for us to enjoy. Play the slideshow at

We had a very nice Easter at home. Saw my folks and Zelda and had a great meal
prepared by Ro. The weather held out, and we even had an Easter egg hunt and
colored eggs with the boys. Probably the last time they will want to do
that...I also took some good flora and fauna pics...

Our newest Florence Nightingale, KpM came home with this interesting sunburn
treatment.
Sunburn Treatment
A guy fell asleep on the beach for several hours and got a horrible sunburn,
specifically to his upper legs. He went to the hospital, and was promptly
Admitted after being diagnosed with second degree burns. With his skin already
starting to blister, and the severe pain he was in,The doctor prescribed
continuous intravenous feeding with saline,Electrolyt, a sedative, and a
Viagra pill every four hours.
The nurse, Who was rather astounded, asked, 'What good will Viagra do for Him,
Doctor'?
The doctor replied, 'It won't do anything for his condition,
But it'll keep the sheets off his legs.
Me and my honey, traveled to the Bronx to visit family at the cemetery. We
stopped at Ferry Point Park on the way back,. and took a few pics from the
Bronx view... No, I didn't chase her up that tree, my honey climbed it ...

Ro and Frank came across this great tree stump.
Looks cool in the yard. Even Tyson likes hanging out around it.
Remember that bumper damage I had from an
accident back in December. Well, I saved the $1,063 to fix it and
did it myself.

Ever since I saw Brooklyn Walker's moon photo, I've been itching for a good
power zoom digital camera. I did some research and decided on the Canon
PowerShot SX30is. It has an incredible 35x optical zoom, and goes to nearly
100x on the digital side. The zoom shots are amazing. Here's my first few days
worth of pics. Out
and About with new Canon SX30is. I enjoy nature and scenic shots and this
camera may allow me to be a bit more creative.

We don't know what the new IT org structure will look like when all is said
and done, and there are never guarantees that all is done. With that said, it
was extremely difficult to lose 2 of our founding fathers in NYDCOPS. Our
Easy Rider, LF, and SaY
were part of a larger 'workforce transformation', that included my current
manager, DN and former manager RR. It's always tough when big corps go through
these periods, and yet it is also an opportunity for all involved to refine
their individual business or life plans. These guys are the reason for our
success, and were participants in building our underlying core principles for
computer operations. We took and still take our work serious, we became
customer advocates and delivered a quality service to our end users. The teams
and processes these guys helped build are the foundation for all that has
happened since and to continue. Please be proud of what you have left in place
and know that we welcome you back anytime for our gatherings and look forward
to remaining in touch. And for me personally, thank you for all of your
support, and hard work over the years. We had a great management team, and I
am quite proud of what we have accomplished over the years. I am going to miss
having you guys around. I Love you guys.
Thank You Lou & Steve -

We wish my Zelda well. Our Nonny, who's 100
years and 4 months old, had a cornea replaced Monday and is recovering at AJs
house. So far, the docs say things are looking well.
I think I am also going to start bringing stuff home. Things ain't the same
any more, and I need to realize that as well.
FjL lost his job at Waldbaum's, since A&P filed bankruptcy, so he's gotta hit
the bricks again. Also had difficult time at work, which is gonna be tough for
a lot of people. Need to look forward and persevere. We live chapters in our
lives, and each new chapter is an experience. I figure that any day I wake up,
and I'm still breathing God's air, I'm doing fine.
I think it's time to random drug test our president., Cause he must be fucking
high. Most well off Americans want to pay more taxes ? The reason they don't
is Washington hasn't 'asked' them ?
We have a deficit because of irresponsible
spending on the part of people who work in Washington, and they spend that
money for a host of reasons, the least of which is your prosperity. They're
spending money to buy votes. They're spending money to make people dependent.
They are enforcing poverty on people. They are breaking up families under the
pretense of compassion and concern and hoping to help people. They are
destroying people's dignity by taking away the option of dreams and work and
achievement and success. They are exploiting a natural tendency of some people
to be lazy and shiftless and sit out there and do nothing but collect a check.
... The Democratic Party is using people, exploiting people for one reason,
and it has nothing to do with having a desire that those people have a happy
life. It's all about making sure those people have barely enough to get by and
that all they've got comes from government, and that they know that the
government providing it to them is the Democrat Party. ... I say after 50
years of this ultimate failure which destroys elements of the country and our
people that it's time to try it a different way and to de-emphasize the role
of government in everybody's life.

Today is my brother FL's 'other'

created this special birthday for him. We love you bro. Enjoy your really
'special' day !!!

Cruising through the neighborhood yesterday, we
came across our cousins R&MG working in the yard. Talked us into playing
with his new robotic ping pong ball shooter, and it was wild. What a great
invention.
Here's an interesting image submitted by DnC.
It's been a while, but this one is pretty good. When you look at this picture
you see it's Albert Einstein. But if you stand 15 feet away it will become
Marilyn Monroe. Now what do you think of the reliability of eyewitness
testimony ?
Not a lot of words, and yet, a very simple to understand position and
commentary. Hard to argue against it.

Congratulations to my God-daughter, NL on passing her driving test. We're all
very proud of you, and we love you very much.
PEZ is on a dispenser craze. Just got 2 new remakes of vintage PEZ.
Captain America and Thor, 2 of my
favorite characters.
So, if you're a liberal or a fan of our current lame president, Barry, it must
be driving you nuts. He announces he is going to seek re-election, and that he
is going to abandon those hopeless civilian trials for those Guantanamo Bay
detainees.... Seems he figured out the only way to get most people to support
him is if he behaves a lot like George W. Bush. Unfortunately, for him, most
of America now knows he's a communist, and when he can't get on a bunch of
state ballots, this flash in the pan will be done with. I still think he
should be impeached for taking us to war with Libya, but that's just me
thinking out loud.
I saw this Peeps car driving down 5th avenue
the other day. This ain't my pic, I found it on someone's Flickr page, but it
was too cool to pass up posting.

I'm just asking, how come UPS never mistakenly delivers 31 pounds of Texas tea
to my house ? I get plenty of PEZ deliveries by them, one would think my
chances should be higher... :-)
Thanks to all who encouraged me to submit a couple of my photos in to our
company staff photography contest. They end up selecting 12 photos to be used
in our calendar each year. Here are the two I sent in, with the caption for
each. I hope you like my selections.
Got me some new PEZ today, Hello
Kitty set with bows. Checkout the skull on the bow of two of them. I'm
sure our Florence Nightingale is gonna dig that.

From my AJ - Female Fairy Tale
Once upon a time in a land far away, a
beautiful independent self-assured happened upon a frog as she sat
contemplating ecological issues on the shores of an unpolluted pond in a
verdant meadow near her castle.
Suddenly, a frog hopped into the princess’s lap and said “ Elegant lady, I was
once a handsome prince until an
evil witch cast a spell on me. One kiss from you, however, and I will turn
back into the dapper young Price that
I am and then, my sweet, we can marry and set up housekeeping in your castle
with my mother, where you can
satisfy my needs, prepare and serve my meals, clean my clothes and bear my
children, and forever feel grateful
and happy to do so."
That night, as the Princess dined sumptuously on lightly sauteed frog legs
seasoned in a white wine and onion
cream sauce, she chuckled and though to herself
Here's a couple of nice shots taken from my
perch on the corner of 40th st. and 5th avenue

I'm sure the word is out. The rumor is true. If you heard it, and couldn't or
still can't believe it, well, it happened. I was dancing. And not just one
dance, one day. A few dances across two days. Here
I am with my great-niece JG, but there were
others, so checkout the pics from the last 2 parties and see for yourself. I
don't know how it happened, but hey. It happened, so enjoy it....
We had a wonderful time at
Kim and Joe's
Engagement Party on Friday night. The families had a great time, the food,
and music were great as we all gathered to wish the happy couple well.
We lost our Grandma Sarah on this
day 7 years ago. We have missed her every day since. My Mom and her were best
friends. They spoke a few times a day, and for me that's the hardest part. We
are thinking of you everyday and miss you very much.
I Love You !!!

The Gimp is back. TH returns to the office
after several weeks laid up with a broken leg. It's good to see him gimping
around, even if it's got a new look to the gait... Here he is hanging out with
us, with Boom Boom and Ziti... - PS - Dude, get a haircut !!!
Things are moving along fast now with the new
lobby work. New marble wall panels are going up, and more is being
revealed each week. It's all on track to be completed by around 4/15.
Happy Birthday to my friend Spanky. He's commuting down to Miami to work at a
new bank there. He's even got the Elusive Sail
Capri helping him out...

28 years ago today I married Rosanne Albanese. Happy Anniversary sweetheart.
That was the happiest day of my life, and after all this time, I still find
you an amazing woman. You are a beautiful, sexy woman. Strong, confident,
loving and caring, and so full of life. I know I drive you crazy, but please
know that I will always love you. You are a wonderful mother to our 3 sons,
who have become fine young men. The special bonds you have with them are
testament to your love for our family. Thank you for being there always, thank you for loving me,
and thank you for the life we have together. I adore you. I Love You always !!!

My beautiful niece SrA turns 21 today. Congratulations, we love you very
much, and have a very Happy Birthday !!!
I came across a
vintage pic of my bride. Pretty amazing
that we're still married after 28 years. No one knows what I have to go
through, and this was a particularly difficult time for her. She was eating
4 and 5 bags of chips every day, donuts, zeppoles, ice cream. It never
stopped, eating, eating, eating !!! But, our love prevailed, and I had to
tie her down for 4 days, with no food, only water, but she lost the weight
and has never relapsed. I love you baby !!! No matter what !!!
My newest PEZ came in today.

We
celebrated MJs 20 years of
service to the bank today at Carmines. Mel actually reached this
milestone in July of last year, and continues to exemplify the work ethic of
our team. Thank you, on behalf of the NYC management team. You're a trusted
advisor and a major contributor to our success as a team all these years.
What
the funk is this ? It was installed recently, but I'll be damned if I
know what it is.
I was just thinking, you all
thought I was nuts when I grabbed these items being left behind when we
moved out of 1w6. Who's wishing they had a
Geiger counter and gas mask now ?????

Now, I'm sure we're all doomed. At
work, DjC actually placed me in the same sentence with the words patience
and saint.
Thanks to Mohammed, from the Mens
Wearhouse. Helped me with a couple of new suits and shirts... Also,
thankfully, he had good fashion sense.... :-)
Here's a sneak peak at the
new reflection we will enjoy from the new
building lobby entrance facade.
Once again, Whitestone Park has
been hit hard from the recent high winds we have been having. The last 2
good climbing trees we used to have in the
middle of the park have been severely damaged, and I suspect will have to be
removed entirely. We also lost the squirrel,
'no-tails' tree.
The
newly restored NY Public Library looks stunning in the sunlight. It has
been returned to it's beautiful jewel-like condition, and really gives pop
to the area.
If your tailor spelled 'alteration'
like this, would you use them ?
My honey had a Facebook arranged
grade-school reunion. Here she is with the old

From TR, a civics lesson -
The Haircut
One day a florist went to a barber
for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about his bill, and the barber
replied, 'I cannot accept money from you, I'm doing community service this
week.' The florist was pleased and left the shop. When the barber went to
open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen
roses waiting for him at his door.
Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill, the
barber again replied, 'I cannot accept money from you , I'm doing community
service this week.' The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning
when the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen
donuts waiting for him at his door.
Then a Member of Congress came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his
bill, the barber again replied, 'I can not accept money from you. I'm doing
community service this week.' The Congressman was very happy and left the
shop.. The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen
other Members of Congress lined up waiting for a free haircut.
And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the
citizens of our country, and the politicians who run it!
BOTH POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS
NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN
AND FOR THE SAME REASON!
The NYC subway system can be an
interesting source for information. Here's an example of an

It was good to see and meet our
colleagues from across the Group, as we all gathered to discuss business
objectives. Here's a couple of shots of JN,BP,
and CC where we enjoyed a nice lunch. We also had
DjC and GP who always enjoy each others
company.
Here's another song, called
Clinger. Be sure
and check out all of the bands videos on Youtube.
JaL
& KpM are all scheduled to close in April. We walked through the house
the other day, and it's a wonderful starter
home, that will become a comfortable home for the newlyweds.
The
new glass facade was installed as work continues on our new main
entrance and lobby.
I know they say we got big rats in
