Another quick rant - So, Ryan Dunn was going 140mph,
his blood alcohol was greater than 2x the limit, he killed his passenger and
the news, mags, papers, and TV all put up his best photos, so as to make him
out a hero, of our impressionable young minds...
I came across a great new phrase to use when something goes wrong on the job. As I think about it, it will probably work for nearly every event that does not go as desired. This came from a US Govt Report of a 5 year old nuke sub incident - essentially an MOR in our world -
'... the outcome could have been so much more catastrophic and thus must be regarded as at the less serious end of the potential spectrum of consequences...."
so, be warned current colleagues, you may see this in one of my reports someday.... the intent of course would be for you to chuckle and recall this post...
Here's another panorama shot of Whitestone Park....
Here's a bunch of new nature shots taken down by the jetty. I love the family photo don't you ?

How can this get better with time ? They continue to have 5.x earthquakes DAILY -- this planet is in danger --- Water cleanup system shut down at Japan nuke plant

Radioactivity in one of 24 cartridges, which was expected to last for a few weeks, had already reached its limit within five hours, he said..."
Shit Steak ? I report, you decide ... Steak Made from Human Exrement: Is It Safe? - the story ends with this caution -
Pass it on: Meat made from poop is safe, but you should cook it before you eat it
Congrats to CC, the son to CC the dad, son to CC the mother and brother to CC the sister on his High School Graduation. Your family is proud of you on this accomplishment. Now it's on to college where you will continue to do well and prepare yourself for your future...
The infamous 'they' struck last night. Stole 2 of the 4 wheels from the neighbor's car. Luckily they left the lugs and 2 of the tires. Let's hope and pray when they put the tires on their car they get a blowout at high speed....
Summer in NYC, where a band pops up anywhere....
Lots of progress being made in decomming the old 'dotcom' kit. 8 more racks were removed. Thanks guys !!!

Today is Flag Day, if you don't display it often, today would be a good day to consider
Had to replace the transformer for the kitchen cabinet lights again. I think this is the 3rd time replaced, but my first effort, without blowing the place up. If it blows again, there's something else wrong...
It's been a while since I posted any pics of CitiField, or as I like to call it CitiZens Field....
We have fresh butterfly eggs on our fennel bush. In a few days, they will hatch, grow into mighty caterpillars, then cocoon and become the summers first crop of Leone butterflies. We can't wait.... Here's a tease from last summer's crop - Our Summer Butterflies - July 2010
I think my cousin is right, Tyson is way too comfortable around us for a stray cat... I don't even lay around the yard like this ...
It was good to see GG. She's back in the city, working for a friend, and past colleague, TR, and will do well at Thomson-Reuters... Good Luck to you !!! Now we gotta get SaY working again.
Remember that you saw it here first. An exclusive view of the now infamous, rock h*rd Weiner Dik.
I don't understand people, we have a beautiful park down at Whitestone Park, and this guy sits his fat ass down in a lawn chair in the damn street !!!
FrankieJ ends his first year at John Jay College with a 3.511 GPA. We are so proud of you. Congratulations !!!. Enjoy your summer. We Love You very much !!!

I'm HOPING that my 'progressive' friends can read this article, and then simply look at Barry's recently released 'birth certificate'. Then just look at the capital E in HUSSEIN and compare it to the E in East Africa, and you have to believe something is wrong. be honest !!!
It's been 7 years since Reagan died, and we always seem to ask ourselves, What Would Reagan Do ? We miss ya Ronnie !!!
Here's that toasted Weiner pic causing such a 'big' stir...
The Dawn Patrol MC had their annual Memorial Day run the other day, and our Easy Rider LF helped out the arrival of all the bikes. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the weather held out for the day...

When an Eagle Talon and a telephone pole meet at high speed, it's usually the telephone pole that wins. Need evidence - here it is.
Went to Home Depot and caught these fighter jets landing at LaGuardia
An amazing movie to watch and story to share this Memorial Day. Taking Chance - God Bless America. And remember - All gave some. Some Gave All - Never Forget

Here's a nice combo pic of our building and the newly restored Library.
There were 3 of these cranes taking pics or video high above 5th Avenue.
I came across a nice little park on Great Neck called Ravine Park. Not only did they have a nice gazebo, they had 'shrooms ...
During our visit to the New York Public Library, I took some pics in the reading room. I was surprised to see how much porn is being viewed right out in the open.

So, they found some DNA on the maids uniform. Oops.... a question, if DSK resigned because he was thinking about his family, how come he wasn't thinking about them when he was forcing his dick in the maids mouth ?
Here's some video of bringing one of the dry coolers to the roof. Dry Cooler lift video. Their motto ? - 'We pick thing sup and we put things down.'
Just got word that an image such as this is now banned by OSHA at major construction sites. It's becoming too distracting for the workers.
With the new smoking ban in all NYC parks looming for this Monday, Ro took the time to smoke her last cigarette, and what better place to do so, then next to the new sign announcing the ban. My honey, the rebel ...
Yes, that was RG we came across at the park. It was good seeing you.
Me and my honey at our favorite spots, the park and the circle
We spent some time in the city after the big lift, and visited the NY Public Library and Bryant Park. Even took pics where Ghostbusters was filmed. It is an amazing building. Be sure and visit if you are ever in the area. NY Public Library celebrates 100 Years - May 2011
Ro even got into the 'swing' of things with the street performers...
It was good seeing Dino the other day, when he stopped by to see his buddies.
The New York Public Library celebrates 100 years, and had one of it's livelier lions hand out this commemorative book.
Great work by Scooby & the team that are working to replace our rooftop dry coolers. Today was the big lift, brought in a crane, closed 39th street and picked 6 dry coolers off the roof, and dropped 6 news ones on. Next we do a bigger job to replace 2 generators. Thank You guys for all your long hours and hard work. NYDC rooftop dry cooler replacements - May 2011
21 years ago today, me and my honey renewed our vows, making her my 2nd wife. I love her so much that I would end up marrying her a 3rd time a few years after that. I Love You, Happy 2nd Anniversary !!!
Breaking News, from TR. Reports coming in that Osama has met the first of the 72 virgins that were waiting for him.
Congrats to Joe & Kim, got the keys to their new home last night. Good Luck guys, we love you... Joe & Kim new home - May 2011
Got me some new PEZ today. New St. Louis Cardinals and Disney PIXAR Cars set
Not sure if I mentioned it already, we recently spent $1,800 on Ro's RAV4 to replace the rack and pinion assembly. It was making a knocking sound, and was leaking fluid. They said it could have been dangerous if it seized while we were driving it. Of course, we are about 1 year past the warranty, never bought the extended warranty either. Either way, we're pushing back. I've done research and no one has ever heard of this part being replaced until way past 100,000 miles, and then rarely, if ever. We have about 40,000 and only have the car 4 or 5 years. We're making great progress. So far they are willing to refund the $800+ parts cost. Now we're working on the labor part. If the part was defective, we shouldn't have to pay the cost for the labor to replace the part you are giving us money back on. I think in the end we will prevail. All thanks to a very persistent Ro !!!! - Thanks Ro !!!
The New York Public Library on 5th Avenue turns 100 this year. Dang, Zelda is older than the library. Congrats, and it is looking great after 3 years of cleaning.
Have you heard ? The end is near. Very near, like next Saturday near. So, if there is something you want to do in this life, you better get to it ...
Tyson must have had a scuffle the other night. Came over, and he's all cut up on his neck.
Those 2 idiots they arrested for planning to blow up synagogues in NY seem to have enjoyed our area by the Malba jetty. Here they took a pic at one of our favorite spots...
Interesting shot of the moon over the Point !!!
Here's a vintage pic of one of our leaders who originally hailed from up Buffalo way. Not many of you will recognize him, but some will and enjoy the flashback...
Lots of work starting up at the job, to prepare us for our 18-24 month strategy .... It all begins with the rooftop dry cooler replacements. Good work boys. Rest up ... more to come
It took nearly 2 months, and 3 Work Orders with 311, but they finally cleaned this Stop Sign. I hate graffiti. I don't understand it, really. Seems to be an expensive venture, with no redeeming social value.
Hey Ma, next time you walk around the block at night, notice how there is light again from the street light in front of Red's house. I opened that work order on 3/27, they responded pretty quickly.
So, let me understand this now. The Taliban takes credit for blowing up people in Pakistan, as revenge for the US killing Usama Bin Wanking. Shouldn't revenge be a bit more directly focused ? Can we order more revenge attacks in Iran, Libya, and Syria ? I'm not saying they're stupid, but if the foo shits, wear it...
My newest Pez - University of Hawaii .... Aloha !!
Happy Birthday shout out to our fearless traveler, ScoobyFitz. Have a Scooby Doobie day !!!
Here are those baby pics I promised. The proud Mama & Papa with their first baby picture...
Osama's dead. Get him off the news and headlines, and get back to the economy and what our politicians are doing to this country. This is a distraction. When one is being distracted, one should be wary....
It's gonna be a boy !!! He will be our first male great-nephew, and we already picked out clothes. Mom & Dad are thrilled, Grandma is already preparing. Pics available now....
This just in from the TR,
The TRUTH about Bin Laden's burial at sea
Bin Laden Given Religious Funeral Prior to Sea Burial
Published May 02, 2011
Osama bin Laden was given a religious funeral prior to his burial at sea, senior military officials told Fox News.
Religious rites were conducted on the deck of the USS Carl Vinson aircraft carrier at about1:10 a.m. Monday in the Persian Gulf.
In accordance with Islamic practice, bin Laden was washed and wrapped in a white sheet before buried at sea at 2 a.m. local time, senior U.S. military and intelligence officials said.
Then, "In accordance with common US Navy SEAL practice, the Team pissed on him, stuck a pulled pork sandwich in his mouth and a kosher hot dog up his ass, and pushed the Mother Fucker overboard with the other garbage," a senior SEAL officer said.
(Booyah!! - Job well done!)
Happy Mothers Day to all you mom's out there. Here's my tribute to those closest to me. With GA being a new addition, since she is due in September. I love you all, especially my Mom, my wonderful wife and mother Rosanne, and Zelda, my inspiration !!!
I call this Dog Poop Justice. There's a problem on the block with this family and their dogs. Watch, and enjoy the effects of bad karma.
Here's another fine example of the beautiful women we find on our corner of 5th Avenue. And giving Free Hugs to boot !!! Who's luckier than me ?
I took what I think are some pretty interesting dusk shots of the crescent moon. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Thank You Mr President. A job well done, all around... You country thanks you for delivering on this 9+ year old promise !!! Obama to bin Laden assault team: `Job well done'
It's Cinco De Mayo - otherwise known as THs Birthday. Happy Birthday Gimp !!!
For you Bin Laden, He told ya we'd Never Forget. Thank God for waterboarding and elections. Generates motivation.
While we wait for photos of a dead Bin Laden, here's a tease to whet your appetite. This guy was clearly armed with a green super soaker, no match for our SEALs...
The lobby opening has been delayed, but it is starting to look good.
Caught this little critter, after he dug up one of his nuts hidden in our lawn...
Psst, despite what you might think, letting everyone look at your underwear is not fucking cool. Who do you think wants to see your slimy crack ? In fact, you look like a freaking idiot. The moron with the improperly used belt is priceless...
SaY stopped by the other day. Headed to the outplacement service, and in pretty good spirits, all things considered. I love you man, and wish the best for you.
We finally got a new flag flying at the Malba Circle, and it has the Malba Yacht Club flag as well.
I've been giving the 4 amigos on our block Pez at the holidays, and when cool ones come out. Just got them the NY Yankees Pez for their collections. The kid in the middle mentioned he liked Mario Brothers, so I surprised him with the set.
Congrats to my son JaL, and his beautiful fiancé KpM. They closed on their new home today, and are the proud new owners of a 30 year mortgage. We are so very proud of both of you. You are hard working, kind and loving, and will make a great couple and homeowners. Good luck, be patient and enjoy your new home. We Love You both !!! And as your Mom would always say, remember always to Live, Love, Laugh.
THANK YOU Mr. President for authorizing the kill order on Bin Laden. You are a leader to your country for this courageous decision. We will Never Forget your courage. Our hearts and love go to our forces, deployed worldwide and ever vigilant. God Bless America !!!
"After a firefight, they killed Usama bin Laden and took custody of his body," said Obama. "Justice has been done."

We had a very nice time at Grace & Anthony Engagement Party - May 2011. What better way to celebrate Friday's wedding ceremony ? The restaurant served good food and everyone enjoyed themselves. Enjoy the slideshow below in fullscreen.
It may be an appropriate time for us to begin the next phase of our discussion regarding our current president, and the whole point of the so called 'birther' movement. You will, or shall I say, probably should hear a lot about a series of books called the Law of Nations. Many aspects of modern society are built around these concepts as a framework. As our nation was designing itself, many elements of the current knowledge of the times was drawn from these texts. Read para 212, second sentence is quite interesting and relevant to our conversation on this subject. http://www.lonang.com/exlibris/vattel/vatt-119.htm
Got all the pics from our day trip to the city ready now. Weather ended up OK, despite the crummy forecast. Checkout Daytripping in NYC - April 2011
Here's another gem. I took this from 34th street, and the 38th floor of the hotel. Using the new Canon sx30, zoom at about 150x. The lady was barely visible through the railings. What an amazing zoom capability.
Working on the pics I took from our city stay, but here's a special treat. The Freedom Tower is over 60 stories tall already. Never Forget !!!
Happy May everyone. I don't know about you all, but the year is going by quickly...
